You can see the Question in the title. It would be very interesting I think.

a shitload

or

more then you think

play a new game, spot the bot... and find out yourself

no one can pin a number on it so poll is kinda useless.

Boss land is not a public company which has a shares to sell on a stock market. With that said bossland does not have to have his business transparent to the public.

Tldr; he does not have to disclose to us how many subs he has

i dont think so. there are a lot of casuals and a lot of people that are scared of a bann.
maybe 4-6% of the playerbase are botters but not to make gold i think. i play on a high popular server and there are about 10 bots in each cataclysm zone to farm herbs and orbs, thats not much.

More people are botting now than ever because WoW is just a very old game.
You get bored doing the same old grind over and over.

Yea alot more you should jump in a BG and see how is botting I have spotted about 6 in 1 game so yea. That says alot

i'd say 20% of wow players bot , using honorbuddy and about another 15% using other bots . ive seen bg games at night where there are 1 or 2 players and rest bots

not all botters gather overnight. not all botters are gold farmers. there are casual botters also, not just casual players. honestly, 10% is an understatement. personally, i've known many more botters in every mmo i've played vs. legitimate players. unless you are botting to farm gold, there is virtually no way you will be caught or banned for it. there are probably thousands of people who have purchased hb and havent made a single post here. consider that there are something like 37m characters in wow and august 2012 reports 9.1m active subs. you're telling me that there is a maximum of 546k (6%) people out of 9.1m (roughly 4 toons per account) who are using third party programs?

It's like asking a bunch of coke heads. what % of the population do they think take coke regularly.

The number will be inflated, vastly inflated.

awww...now I don?t feel special anymore :D
I just thought there are not many bots because I dont see many bots that are farming gold. The most people in WoW are poor I would say.

Well the thing is if your botting you see a lot more botters because your probably running the same path as them, kicks profiles or a BG etc..

It's probably quite low but it just seems like a lot because of where you are :P

This question is put out wrong.

It should go like this instead.

Why are botters so greedy that everyone notices them on the AH.

By the looks of it they would sell their mother to get just their stuff sold.
