Based on your EXPERIENCE, between all classes, which would you say would be the most efficient at champion farming, if say all are equally well geared.

Comparing factors

Survivability:

Kill time:

Movement:

Cost to gear up:

Well cost to gear up might be higher than other classes, but so far I really like my monk for A1 champ farming using DB.

My botting build has some awesome defensive abilities while still being able to lay the smack down. My primary attack, Deadly Reach is runed to increase my armor by 50% putting me at 10k armor. Lashing Tail Kick is extremely helpful in that it knocks all enemies back, keeping the amount of mobs on me doing melee damage to a minimum, and prevents me from being locked into a corner 99% of the time. Breath of Heaven is a decent little heal(6.2-7.4k), and Serenity gives 3 secs of 100% immunity to damage and CC and another decent little heal(6.2-7.7k). Sweeping wind adds another 6k or so dps to my offensive abilities and Mantra of Conviction causes mobs within 20 yards of me to take an additional 12% damage, and reduce the damage they do by 10%. My passives are also selected for their defensive bonuses of increased armor, decreased damage from mobs, and increased resistances.

Now granted my gear isn't cheap, but using my build you could prolly get a good MF set to use with it for under 5m (you just spent 30$ buying DB, spend another 5 buy some gold and make it worth your time) When fully buffed and running with my enchantress, I'm sitting at 10k armor, 50k hp, 500 RA, 22k dps, 36% dodge and 260mf (185 base+NV). I only bot for 4-6 or so hours a day and average 20m a day on AH transactions with about 3-5 deaths farming A1. Slowly I'm gathering better gear to be able to MF farm A2. My good gear would allow me to farm A3, but right now it's more profitable to just MF farm A1 :)

Whirlwind barb - a sure bet, fast as fuck and strong too
Critical Mass - very good high survivability, problem is costy abit and unknown how well it will fare in 1.0.4

Mind sharing your build and stats for barbarians?

if youre in a budget an alternative to ww barb is the classic tank barb
spent 3m EACH on my 2 tank barbs, i got 1400 physical resist, around 1000-1200 for the rest, 15k dps (low), 800loh, 10k armor, slow in killing but doesnt die (rarely like 1 time in 3hours, when he actually tanks at the center of an arcane sentry with molten underneath)

hi, i've decided to go with the barb farming route and its been good so far. I tried a WW build, but it doesnt survive as well as 1h shielders, even if they pwn mobs quickers, there's not enough sustainability.

3m build sounds very lean, in terms of speed. i want to be able to burn mobs down and get through all the profiles within a timely manner. The dps you posted looks pretty low to do so, even with the survivability. i rather spend 30m on a build that farms 3x faster than a 3m barb. Itll pay itself off anyways, quicker at that.

Additionall im currently experimenting on 2 builds (barbs):

dual wielding

1h shield with thorns effect.

will report on that when i see fit.

well maybe prices are crazy when I look but barb gear is NOT cheap.
most pieces are 1million+
weapons are 3million+
basically to do act 3 cost 20 million.
at least that is what I have experienced.
I have even see people (not here I don't look for this much but on other boards when 1.04 first came out)
I saw lying asses with 58% crit chance 350% crit damage and 80k armor doing 90K dps saying they only paid a few million.
BULLSHIT

yes that is complete bsand people just want to stretch the truth and throw people off. (especially since crit is capped at 50% lol)

I personally spent about 38m on my barb and i am content with him atm. Im trying to build him into a dual wielder to be super efficient and give the left over gear to my 2nd 1h+shielder.

In the past 2 days i lvled up a WD and started gearing him up for A3, details: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...-stats-required-run-act-3-a-2.html#post699285

I have him setup to be on par with other WD's who posted on forums in terms of damage and sustainability. After yday's A3 test runs ( even though i had 3 slots empty ), I found WD's to be rather dissapointing comparied to barbs, it seems that barbs are just hella lot faster. Even though i fill those 3 empty slots with DPS bonus gear i still dont see how they would be faster than barbs. Id really appreciate it if any WD vets would give me any tips.

I've briefly read about monks, monk botters comment on my OP?
