[Suggestion] Mixed - Random Dungeons

Hello,
I was thinking about this Idea of making it able to queue for Random Dungeons and go on leveling in between kinda like mixed BG's but then with Random Dungeons. I'm atm leveling this way putting it on questing, then queue myself for Random Dungeon and as soon as it pops I Stop the bot for questing then switch to RAF and turn it back on. This is giving me an average of 75k to 100k exp/h at lvl 32 :)
Which is ofcourse f'ing high :P
So if the developers could implement this feature :) Also with appropriate Greed/Need/Disenchant abilities, and if you win on Item on need it says something like Awesome/Cool/Nice etc
This would not make it very suspicious.
Just a suggestion.
Let me here what you guys think.

this would be really fukin nice but, better dont know how hard is that to code it
so i think they will not do it ;P
 
I would think something like this would be far to complicated. I certainly wouldn't want to beta test something like this if it did get implemented imagine as dps your character just runs ahead of the group and pulls so much aggro that it's a continual wipe. Then there the issue of coding corpse runs where you need to run to the portal but HB is wired to run to your corpse which is still visible on the map.
 
Atm i believe the dungeons aren't meshed although someone was in the process of doing them all.
-This would be a nice idea; hopefully someone can merge it into their profile switcher but into more of a 'process switcher'
 
I don't know much about how HB works but I don't see how you could do this. How would you stop your toon running off, pulling aggro or avoiding certain mechanics in boss fights?

You set it to RAF so it follows the Dungeon guide @ xx Yards (for me it is 20 yards) and it only engages combat when leader is in combat :)

I don't know much about how HB works but I don't see how you could do this. How would you stop your toon running off, pulling aggro or avoiding certain mechanics in boss fights?
There is hardly any "Tactics" that needs to be done in dungeons <70 as far as I know.
 
That would require several things, the obvious issues I see are;

1. The leader must not be you.
2. Hopefully the leader is not the tank as cleave and frontal cone damage would be an issue.
3. Spreading far enough to negate any proximity based damage.

1. Turn off being able to be chosen as dungeon guide. I've never came across the fact that I was the dungeon guide when I turned it off. And it should be possible to promote someone else to dungeon guide through injection.
2. Why shouldn't it be the tank? You are 15 - 20 yards away from the leader. So even if it is the Tank it shouldn't be a problem. Didn't came across the problem either.
3. Spread for what damage? The healer heals you and it's not really hard to keep peoples alive untill 60+

instead of making dungeon guide the RAF lead make one of the other dps RAF leader

With the current LFG system i can't see this being possible.
I ment that it was controlable in the sense of being able to tell the bot WHO to follow. And not automaticly follow the Party Leader/Dungeon Guide.
 
I believe the current consensus is that this won't be added anytime soon due to the extremely high probability of users getting banned.
 
this will never be implented. 4 Human players and one bot, in a dungeon. wonder after how many dungeons your account would be closed, cus of player report.

I Raf often and the safest cc i have found is Gotwood. Mords pally cc is great but the follower wants to engage to help dps (good at low lvl's) very botish in outland/nr dungeons. especially when mana becomes an issue. I dont have shammy high enuff to try shamwow in BC/WOTLK dungeons yet and i dont have a priest to use the priest healbot cc so i really have only tried the 2 in bc+ content. This is just my oppinion. i did edit the gotwood cc to not use nourish / wildgrowth etc when my druid did not have those spells (set the heal values to 0). Gl to you in ur raf dungeon parties.
 
I often do the same thing that the OP stated. Only issues i have are with rolling on items.

It won't be complex? How could it be complex to write something similar to the BG queueing but instead queue for a Dungeon. Then need/greed appropriate which it should be able to do. The only thing that's needed is a little adjustment to the RaF because it should not choose the one with the dungeon guide role if role = Tank > Assign random party member as follower. And so far no one has said anything about my behaviour it heals the tank when needed and heals the other party members to if the healer can't handle it. The only thing is the radius of which it follows the party leader in this case. I set mine to 20 and still sometimes it's like walking IN the dungeon guide.
 
Well; if it gets meshed and built in .. would be an amazing feature to say the least.
