Cannot open settings to change generic routine

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Ive tried this:

When I press "settings" nothing happens.
Press start on the bot, then press Stop. Now the settings button will work.
You can then choose when to use the skills you have set on your character.
Set your main Resource Spender to Off Cooldown
Set your AOE to 3-4 Enemies Around You.
If you are a DH, set your pet (ferrets?) to every 60 seconds
If you have a heal, they have a "Low HP" option. It goes by 1 as being 1%, 10 as being 10% hp. Not .1 being 10%.

I just want to setup my crit hit wizard blah.

I share your pain bud. Trying to get that settings window to open seems like the buggiest/luck of the draw/trivial task. How I sometimes get it to open is to start the bot, once the game starts quickly stop the bot, hit the settings tab and then go back into your D3 and move your char a tiny bit.
