[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Wahoo, I managed to pull it off with using system.threading and thread.sleep(1000), but that pauses the entire game screen so rinse and repeat...

Anyhow, you have an issue with the vendor run in Act 2. If the profile forces a vendor run, tp's, then goes to the topleft merchant (Fence) you sometimes get stuck behind the rock on the way back to the TP. It happens sporadically for some reason.

Probably is one of those rare/unique things - but if you could send me the log from your DemonBuddy logs folder.....

Sadly I'm an eejit and have deleted the install folder that version was in and replaced it with a new one. I do still have both the items stashed so I'll try and recreate it tomorrow sometime. I'll post a log if anything happens.

The bot still wont loot? Ive renewed everything, running 2 clients, 1 ends up running fine, the other just does the profile and skips loot on everything?... Both plugins are enabled etc etc, all the retarded stuff is done, no idea what could be wrong =/? Any ideas?

Thread.sleep is general considered baaaaaad (freezes entire DB process so nothing else can continue). Arguably this isn't too bad while it's only town-running, but it's a command that should always be avoided. For your own personal use there's certainly no harm and it's good to start experimenting editing plugins yourself (that's how I started! :D) - but if you take a look at the version due anytime in the next hour you'll see a more... "unusual" way of doing it (see how long it takes you to find the new code!).

As for the Act 2 - the actual running back to the TP is all Demonbuddy pathing/handling/code - I dump the town-run back to Demonbuddy once it's finished at the vendor - the running back to the TP is just the default DB town-run code again. I actually did a little bit of custom pathing on the way *TO* the vendor by giving it a couple of navigation points to hit first (to avoid possible obstacles)... sounds like I'll have to force the bot back up there with a couple of waypoints too before I let DemonBuddy try and path by itself if it's struggling! (I dread to think how unreliable that area is going purely off DB - it can get stuck on the way back AND on the way there! :P). Won't do that for the next upcoming version though, that can wait for now (too late, too tired, just want to finish running my bots, checking logs, before I release the new update!).

What other plugins are you running? How are you launching DB? Are you running 2 copies of DB from separate folders? I personally just have 1 folder/1 copy, that I launch multiple times (one for each bot) - if you were running multiple folders of DB, try just running the one that works, twice - one for each Diablo 3 client. The fact you have it working on 1 client and not another shows that there is SOMETHING you're doing wrong at your end, but WHAT that is would just be me trying to second guess things at the moment! Post back how you get on, try and rule as many possibilities out as you can :)

Do most of you guys use default Item Score levels or have any of you guys found optimization with other scores?

Currently I try to only sell 600k+ item lots on my accounts. 3 accounts full slots still takes around 30min-1 hr to price. I used to judge by eye while using custom rules and probably 75% of stuff I didnt vendor were over my 600k+ min with the other 25% borderline crap or under 600k.

Hey Giles!! hows new DB ver looking? any good changes on memory reading bugs? also look like Apoc with your help definitively fixed plugin loadin problem with reloggers??

Greetings m8 ;)

v1.9.4 Uploaded:
-- Important: v1.9.4+ requires DemonBuddy #204+ (08th August DB release).
-- Stashing, Salvaging and Selling item speeds now much more human-like, including randomized times for every single item handled.
-- Much more robust item-pickup code works faster and now much less prone to memory-read errors.
-- Safety pauses added at end of stashing, selling and salvaging to help prevent DB trying to stash/sell/salvage the final item twice.
-- Item Statistics for item pickups no longer ever grant +2 pickups for 1 item. (item DROP stats were unaffected by this bug).
-- Better handling of the three different follower-item-types.
-- Initial support for total blocking % scoring on shields (still needs some work on the scoring in a future update, but does have some weight now).
Test backpack Note: DB still has issues with caching and reporting incorrect item data when the bot is stopped. If the "test backpack" button is giving unusual results (getting item names wrong/giving bad scores etc.), restart DemonBuddy and try again. This does not affect the stasher!. This only affects the Test button (DemonBuddy now clears the item cache while the bot is running, but not while it is stopped!).

New version seems good so far - not seen any unusual errors, but it tended to be other people that experienced the item-reading-errors more than me! Also the new version only fixes it while the bot is running, not stopped - so the "test backpack" button can still break if you leave/join a new game while DB is running (so best to restart DB before using test backpack button until they give plugins a way to force-clear the cache even if DB isn't currently running a routine).

No idea about reloggers, I've never used any - I'd like to invite anyone that wants to experiment a little, to try a relogger for a while, and report back here with which relogger they tested, and whether or not it still has problems! (ie see if a town-run routine seems to work fine, correctly stashing, salvaging and selling the right things - it used to fail altogether as the plugin hadn't loaded up if reloggers launched DB previously).

What does Item Recognition have to do with the stash problem that was reported by devious21... Two different issues

v1.9.2 Uploaded:
-- Reverted back to Giles Item Recognition (with some improvements), due to root random problems still existing in DemonBuddy item API.

I will avoid the DemonBuddy item-recognising/item-handling API for a while longer yet.

This would be good for a pause button :)

Wish Buddystats could tell you what it is before ID'd, suspense is killing me :), should stick teamviewer back on.

Giles, ever thought of integrating an ilvl63 UNID feature built-in to this? I know there's some laying around but would be great to keep everything in one plugin. :)

Probably an extra window with checkboxes of "keep all" or which i63 items to keep UNID.

A little suggestion regarding shields.

Shields with close to max block chance can actually sell for a bit even if they roll half decent stats (i63 shields). Saw my bot trying to sell a shield worth at least 500k easy and stopped it in time!

In the light of latest patch (loading plugins before profile) does any relogger work with this plugin? "DBrelogger" doesn't seem to work still.

What does Item Recognition have to do with the stash problem that was reported by devious21... Two different issues

If I understood Giles right when he explained it, Demonbuddy would freak out and start reading items improperly (the "itemtype" ie: thinking a potion is a two slot item, or that a two slot item only takes one space, and this would prevent it from properly mapping out the stash. That then resulted in it trying to put items where they wouldn't fit, and caused the issue I reported.

Giles went back to his way of item recognition (and I havent seen any similar error since), so I think you're safe :)

Glad to see all your versions beside each plugin in your sig now :) If only the DB plugin window was bigger to read them all quickly.

Thanks Giles!

QUestion: anyone else having issues with the bot picking up white items? I have the setting set fairly low -- basically I want it to pick up all blue/yellows that drop, but its also grabbing the white ones!
Using the most recent plugin and lootrules that come with it.

I guess its worth noting that I'm also using DBRelogger.

Yes it is worth noting. This addon doesn't work with DBRelogger. (As have been said tons of times throughout the thread and also like 5 posts above on this same page...)

Hey Giles! Still safe to use rules from #337?? (or they miss something with new DB) i need em to use with Stove plugin :D

I use AGB DRelog and its working very well with this plugin. No problems at all.
