If you want to see a really cool build. Do the one I just posted but instead of Explosive Blast use Wave of Force: Impactful Wave. Everything will constantly be frozen or stunned. WoF always turns back ranged like the stupid bees.

I use bone chill and explosive blast-short fuse to do 350 to 500k crit shots non stop. I stopped playing my wizard because it stopped being fun cause he was so powerful.

For effective farming, with hopefully no deaths, do you think WoF will actually help? i feel, especially in highlands, that you have ranged mobs that are all over the place and knocking em away from me is like helping them take no damage At least, that is when my wizard dont go ahead and runs and hugs them. Speaking of, what kind of kill radius do you use? Its sometimes very frustrating to see him spamming winds on ranged mobs, sooner or later he gets them but still, can become very nasty if u dont manage to freeze away some of the arcane death rays

Hi all! I'm back from vacations thanks for all the work you guyz did to evolve this build! I'm going step back into hunting right now and I will for sure try this chain reaction tweak! Honestly I was using this at 1st and I definetly play with it. The no global timer part of this spell makes it very efficient along the tornadoes build but with it set too often i was just burning my AP on it and then the winds were not casts anymore so it was bad. Probly the life check tweak might help use this only when burst is needed and with the APoc I get right now it seems more usefull.

Gardettos about Ghom, the way to do it is very simple. Forget frost nova and simply don't use it as its a waste of a GCD. All you do is buff yourself, keep the finger on the right click(tornado) on ghom and then you spam Diamond skin (I use a macro spam 1 every 10ms) and its a kill. I do with only my right hand, the other hand hold the join! I stand in shit and even after enrage I survive with both feets in the poison. I suggest 1100 AR and 18-20 APoc(as only 1 target call for the need of 4-5-6 tornadoes).

For those who were asking bout A2-3 I can't bot those yet. Arcane/molten/shield bees are among the top issues encountered there. I definetly solo all this by hand tought but I dont use the same button config than my bot. I use frost Nova on B3 and Arcane Orb Obliteration on left click for when I want to do some range dmg or just to dump my AP. It strikes hard.

I think if we could get a high dps sword with LoH/ and have a OH that has high damage w/ life & APoC it might be effective as well.

I'd try it, but I don't have a high damage sword or any OH w/ 8% crit & APoC.

The shield is actually not only armor but also block. My shield has 20% Block along close to 4-5k block rating... that's a lot of mitigation. Umm, it should auto cast Diamond Skin if you have it set to below X % Hp. Mines currently set to 95, and it casts while I am frozen.

My generic profile does not cast anything when it is frozen. Which sucks cause I use mirror images that breaks frozen. I have actually better luck setting diamond skin to not on cool down. Better to have it up non stop since it has no ap cost and no casting motion.

What version of of demonbuddy are you using? I'll take a look at my wizard while running to see if it does cast it or not while frozen.

Same for me, Using Champion Hunting 1.9.2 by Radonic, DB 1.8.5 and No actions are taken while CCed when using Generic.

ive spent alot of gold to gear up my wizard but still getting up to 8 deaths an hour any advice would be appreciated, heres my stats:
38k life
17k DPS
All resists are 850-900, however Arcane resist is at 1200, i stacked some of it on gear for extra safety
AP on crit 15
Life on hit 320
crit chance 24%
armor 6704 (with energy armour up)

seem to dire to almost every firechain pack and still sometimes to arcane i dont watch it enough to work out exactly what and when i die to, but i know ive never seen it beat firechains and still see it die to arcane sometimes, not sure what else

also i noticed profile restarter sometimes makes me move when in battle? because im standing still too long i think? and also sometimes i check on it and energy armour is not up even though ive set it on the generic every N seconds as per the guide... wierd.
ive only seen this complete the run ONCE and it was with me helping him out every now and then.
i also have it setup to use potions as per the guide and its doing that
anyway any advice would be much appreciated, very keen to get this rolling as when not dying works well!

mines not crasahing MUCH but im using DB .185 and 1.9.2 and giles plugins

u get still can DB1.8.5 on page 98 of the profile guide thread

however as a side not i would love if anyone knows of a relogger or app that will check it D3 logs out or crashes or anything and relogs it and gets it going again, im using DBrelogger for other profiles but it wont work with this

Are you using a shield? Your crit chance could be a bit better. It's also normal to die with wizard due to them being squishy.I usually can get 2 run sin in an hour du eto my dps, but I'll die maybe once every 3 hours.

I'm actually finding Belphegor to work quite well with this setup. I just do the following in the settings:

Diamond Skin HP set to 1.00
Frost Nova AoE Count set to 1.00
Energy Twister AoE Count set to 1.00

With that it spams the three spells as often as they are up.

Your crit is too low and in regards to energy armor. Unfortunately DB doesn't recognize you died so it is still waiting X amount of seconds to recast Energy Armor. That is why I keep it at like 100 second or lower.

when i set the combat to generic and leave any of the spell slots to "not on cooldown" my guy does absolutely nothing but runs to the waypoint paths taking hits until he dies. DB 204.

Hi friend! As stated earlier by Gardettos your crit is a bit low, I like to stay over 30%. About the shield, as stated in the guide : Equip a Shield. The bot is always being hit so a Shield is vital. You can find good ones with Intel-Crit.

Also about the dies, I realised often the CCs were more fatal than the damage itself. The way generic is not actually working when CCed don't help our case. Being unable to cast Diamond skin while CCed makes it way harder. When I play this, It's just too easy, I'm seriously doing A3 with one hand. With my left hand I activate my macro that spam Diamond skin and Frost nova every 10ms and then I hold Right click to where i want the tornadoes and I watch to the show. Some times I have to move to don't stand in mid of arcane... All I want to say about it is "This build is Clever".

Now well, how DB//routines handle this is actually sadly not very good. DB still have to learn to play it haha

The Belph Developper have made a hard work to make it work well I think but actually it is not working but did you noticed he seems to have made a specific Belph for it? we can see it in 2.0.4 but I did not get it to work yet. It's very interesting and I truly think that togheter we will make it work well sometimes soon. Actually all we can do is stack more crit-resists-hp and cross fingers.

This hunting profile is not made to make huge profits in gold. It is made so we get some chances at loots. The longer we survive the better the loots are so of course it is not very optimal at the moment, sorry we are doing our best to find out some ways to make the generic routine work better but someday we will need something better.
