Yeah so I noticed that Kane is out, was good to have you around man, you were/are great. But I would like the most current version so I can use Giles Loot Replacer..
True.I saw something last night where the developer for AGB has quit because he is mad at the DB guys or something... I dunno, dont hold me to that
He feels he has done more work for the bot than the buddy team devs have been pushing lately, which just isn't true.
I can even go further and say most plugin developers have put in more effort than the actual team.
Some Plugin devs with no knowledge of the inside workings, heck in giles case even no knowledge of programming have added ALOT of features to Demonbuddy by putting in insane hours of work that someone with inside knowledge could have fixed within 10 Minutes.
For gods sake, the demonbuddy townrun is still not functional -_-
certainly have to agree, and you guys dont get a cut of the profits. guess thats always going to be the problem in a bot that is basically only as good as its community, but when the community and guys like you bust your ass to bring out awesome plugins etc and the core bot has so many issues still i can understand the frustration.
Take AGB for example, someone with actual demonbuddy knowledge would not take longer than 5 hours (Yeah not really, more like 1-2hours) to accomplish exactly the same thing while being VASTLY more stable.
I would certainly like to see more being done and I think a lot of simple things are missing (Random change profile? Just now getting a timer for runs?) but! D3 is still pretty new and I'm sure everything they do MUST be inscrutably tested to ensure it's not going to cause something that makes the bot detectable on their end. Otherwise their reputation would be ruined. They are also tied up in litigation right now as well, so that's probably taking up a lot of time.
Theyre developers not a legal team, adding new features has nothing to do with detectability of demonbuddy itself.
