Creator of AGB/DRelog GONE from Forum and DB

Tis a sad day :(

This is a direct quote/message from him:

Gone. Tired of putting in more development time than the actual devs, all that is in the patchnotes is miniscule stuff.
I can guarantee you that Random Map Pathing is done already but they just cant figure out how to use it as cheap DRM.
Funny enough Bosslands main Attack Point against Blizzard in the court case XD

Comon pick up the slack BuddyTEam, this is embarrassing but a volunteer is forced to do more work than paid employees

Rest in peace Kane :(

what do you know about their work?
Im sure they are doing their jobs.

The BuddyTeam prioritize safety first, thats why I choose to buy more of Bosslands bots :)

Ps: They never asked someone to do anything, people volunteer to make something usefull for the forum and then get mad, thats sad stuff.

they are doing their job alright :/ but like simple stuff/function that can be done in couple days, they are not adding them. for example, OFFICIAL relogger, pot usage, more specific tags info, and etc.

He is just frustrated; it is what it is.

What I liked about IB is its glory days was the fact that the bot was updated _every day_ with useful additions. I mean random game creation and leaving time was added to IB months ago and I am pretty shocked thebuddy team didn't add simple functions like that before.

There are a lot of functions that could be borrowed from IB.

A lot of people are disappointed with demonbuddy, it was too much hype for too long and was released so late into diablo 3 that it was hardly profitable for anyone involved in the end.

I kept telling my friend to use IB when it first came out but he was worried about being banned I used it from the first few weeks of diablo 3 up until a few weeks before now and he was banned two weeks after me using DB. I am sure he is not too happy about it either.

If it is all so simple, write your own?

We didn't pay to write up our own features that should be standard.

If we knew how than we wouldve made our own -.-

Here is the thing, they did not lie when they sold you the service/product. You are just being a baby, and really seems to think that bitching here, will help your case to get something accomplished. From your own post apparently are not talented enough to write your own. But have the vast knowledge to know what should be included as basic simple functions.. I

If they want to prioritse safety then they shouldve made the bot perform less like a robot and more like a human being.

It may be the safest client sided bot out there but it is getting ripped apart by server sided detection/

RIP Kane, it is sad but true. DB updates have been a joke. They seem to not care about the bot for the most part, incase they lose their battle. It will just be wasted time, but same amount of profits because we have all bought DB already.....

Sad to see him go. Kane has been a contributor to previous d3-related projects and the stuff he did was quality content. This surely is a loss for demonbuddy. I can see his point though, I'm pretty new to demonbuddy and I think its a great program so far but it seriously lacks proper functions. Someone just mentioned that it can't even use potions - I can't believe that is true? If so, just lol.

Another problem is the pathing of random maps. It wasn't really needed when sarkoth was still alive, everybody was satisfied with his 400k+/hr but its dead now. Surely some people will continue doing it 24/7 without delays for now but its inevitable that they will get their ban as well in the long term (probably just a few days to a week). Its time for real farming now, which requires the navigation in random dungeons. Without this feature this bot will be near to being useless. People are already calling it AutoIt 2.0.

Also why is there no new information on the law suit? Did Bossland GmbH lose the case?

I am really interested to see how things will turn out in the future.

Also, I have seen this picture of a program some guy coded three weeks ago, shouldnt it be easy to do the auto-pathing when its already possible to make the map visible like this?

it can use pot using plugin or edit file i think, but i meant u cant do it in UI which is very unfrndly to use

Well... why does it need a user written plugin to maintain this (basic!) function? Things like this should definitely be added to the core.

thats the point o.O some functions in plugin section are meant to be implemented in DB alrdy

I don't know what to say..i have so many things to say but same time i don't want say nothing.

If you'd like SS's of things like that, we can definitely show them to you. (We've had that type of functionality for months now. Check the map viewer in the info dumping tab)

The thing that is taking so long, is that we need to provide a "Z" axis to any given click point in game, and the above screen shot doesn't provide that type of information. Our current work is not only related to random dungeons, but also more importantly, proper handling of all random areas for navigation, and preventing more detection schemes by Blizzard. (it'd be trivial to check if the "height" on the click pos is actually the real Z the game would give. That's what we're working on)

Kane will be back eventually. I don't blame him for his comment, we have been pushing updates slowly, but that's due to taking a step back and trying to figure out what Blizz is detecting that's causing all the bans (aside from 20s games). We'd rather know the root cause of an issue, than toss hacks at it and cross our fingers.

Regardless though, we're taking our time where we need to. We're dying to get a lot of new functionality out to users, but we can't feasibly do it with the current state of bans, etc. The next few releases should see some bigger features being added. (Random dungeon support is "done" as far as the implementation, however it relies on the nav being 100% correct, for it to work as designed.)

my statement is not about db (which the community made into a functional bot by overriding db logic) this one is about hb your cream of the crop program. It took what 2.5 months ( from April to June) to fix a major issue with how archbuddy ran? Y'all also turned on community freelance dvs and practically shit on them. Yea that is working out great. Holy pally now has zero decent afk bg cc's amongst other classes. Thank god we have clu and he is passionate. Y'all have some major things to work on from a business stand point. Sadly for a company that has been around for what almost 5 years now this shit shouldn't be happening now.

Now back to your comment about stalling releases on db. That is blatant bullshit. Hey guys we are gonna leave our stuff up hope you don't get banned. Yea i lost 4 accounts and i only used db for what 3 days.
Somehow my other 4 accounts that are still going that are running strictly off of ib are still not banned and they been running 24/7(except for maintance ) since may. Maybe y'all need to bring db down and rebuild the Bots logic. Your shit is detected serverside.

This might just be me not thinking straight, but..

If you don't want to get banned using DB, don't bot?
