Would you pay for a good monitoring plug-in?

Hello community,

would you like to see a smoothly working plug-in like jMon and/or buddy center and would you pay for it? I am able to code such thing but the motivation is very low when it comes to doing it for free.

I was thinking about following main (to keep it simple) features.

- toon status (mana, life, currently doing)
- stopping/starting/restarting
- notifications for android and iphone users with reply for whispers function

How much would you pay for it?

Would pay like $2 a month for something like that, but it would have to be good, like really good. I'm talking comes with phone app so you can see your character and what it's doing and stuff like takes screenshots every minute e.t.c, maybe an awesome GUI

to a DB and then display it via PHP

Would I pay for a plugin like jMon or buddy center? No, I'd just use jMon or buddy center.

Well those plug-ins are coming very quickly and going after a while because developers discontinue their project for lack of time and/or money. See buddy center or jMon. And the two way chat feature on iOS and Android is valuable in my opinion, I am pissed not having it.

Then again, paying for something like that is never a guarantee it won't be discontinued. Which is especially bad when the servers go offline, as this won't be standalone.

Would pay, but it has to be well made, and feature rich for sure. Don't really need "simple" monitoring stuff as we already have that...

so 2-way chat, group invites, and in general executing console commands. web interface + mobile app + things that other plugins don't have, like ability to notify in case like no xp gain for x min or no skill gain for x mins.

There is much more involved in such a project. Providing reliable (highly available) web server and database is not as easy and cheap as you may think. And there is much more... but I don't want to discuss implementation details in here. I will be glad to use free plug-in like this with iOS support and two way chat.

It would have to be OMFG amazing. It would have to do thing that the FREE ones don't do or blow them out of the water at what they do. I'm one of those thrifty shoppers, so I will gladly use an ok free item that is missing a few features. The only thing i would pay for without a doubt would be a
GOOD Android two-way chat, along with the other features.

Concerning the points you mentioned earlier: All you said is it depends on webservers and reliable DBs and, yeah well, that's it. You don't need to be an expert coder to provide either the code (as it's already there) or reliable webspace/DBs.

Here's an idea.

Plugin that you pay $5 / month for. *Trusted* real people can monitor your account (when your away) with the ability to:
- Reply to Whispers
- Shut Off In-case of Emergency
- Warn user by calling personal phone # or by text/email.
- Restart bot in-case of it random shutting

They will be highly trusted people. (And of course, if there not, no one will ever use it again.)

$5 monthly fee includes :
2 accounts with protection

$10 monthly fee includes :
2 accounts with viewing
(Be able to view bot and fix if it is stuck, etc.)

Just an idea. (I would pay for something like that.)

Not rlly - as thers an app called TeamViewer. Its for free, u can use it on your phone/pc/tablet etc and u can contorl by it arrelog, hb and wow itselw, just with one connect - perfect for me.

If it worked as smoothly as jMon or BuddyCenter I wouldn't pay a dime for it. Neither of those have ever worked any kind of decent for me. So no, I wouldn't pay for something like that.

I mean whispering is as simple as "/w user message". Commands super easy like "/pluginon Sharp Exit".
