OK So i found something some people may be interested in, while trolling battle.net forums it says i cannot post, so i clicked view more, and it brought me to a page that says my ban expires...? Does anyone know from experience if this is a full account unban because it has an expiration date... Or is this just getting hopes up for no reason. To check this go to a thread that has comments enabled like this one Minuet in G(oblin) - Diablo III and scroll to the bottom where it says comments. It will give u a ban reason and say Learn More. That will give you your ban status. Thoughts!

Not sure. Mine is linked to my WoW character, so it posts as my main. Not sure how to switch it.
 
click your wow characters in the top right and select diablo 3 instead

we need someone to keep track with a low ban hour count on this clock to let us know if it actually is a temp ban as it seems. If So, Hurray for second chances, if not. Blizzard will be known for the biggest f***** troll ever! lol

I've been caught in wow twice for botting on the same account. Wasn't using Honorbuddy though. Still got the account and it's still going. Maybe this is a temp ban. I'll find out personally in 1 day 19 hours.
 
It's most probably just a forum ban, nothing to do with game account closure.

Umm guys, that expiration date and time is only for forums, not for accounts. Your accounts are perma-banned.

honestly thats what i think it is, but its worth keeping an eye on because the email dosent say permanent like my wow bans did.

Mine says "Account Closure" wouldnt temp ban say something like "Account Suspension" ?

Nope. I called and they say its a forum ban. It resets in 3 days for Diablo III forums. So perma-banned in-game and in-forum
 
Why would they ban you from the forums ?

The 3 day reset does not go along with the time frame of my banned account and the time listed on the forums.
 
I dunno. I have accounts banned from 2 weeks before of IB banwave. Still can't post on DB3 forums. But once I switch to my SC account I can post again.
