wtf how are people getting 500k+ gph?!

Using AGB as a DH with about 230gf//180 Mr and 51kdps (with SS) I can't seem to break 300k gph. Do I need more damage? More gf? How much would some decent gf gear run me? Also, with AGB do I have to use hungering arrow as my primary or could I use another skill?

What are your loot rules? also you are using cluster arrow, correct?

Hmm i would say that 300gph with 230gf is pretty ok?!
 
Honestly, getting 500GPH is hard enough even if you have MAX gold find.
Load times imho are very important, I think the only way to get over 500GPH with a normal hard drive and not a SSD is almost always 1shotting sarkoth, and having close to 375% GF. You can equip templar with gf items that help.

Personally the best ive done is 450gph, that was with around 345% gf and 2 shotting sarkoth.

Interesting since my roommate runs his on a Core2Duo box with a few gigs of ram and a normal hard drive nothing special and he easily gets 450k GPH with under 300%GF. What setup are you using?

2-3 shot sark on ssd raid setup ~650k gph with agb, gilesinfernoloot, templar follower, and 320 gf. Running with 100-200 mf will help you actually roll crazy socketed 1k+ weps with decent stats. Commodities are falling now in price alongside the potential short game hotfix, so it might be best to farm act 1 champion profiles since good drops are rare on sarkoth until maybe the legendary buff.

edit: I've been watching sark since the drop nerf and it's obvious that items are rolling better. I don't know if this is stealth buff or if it involves the ratio of high-level items in the AH.

My experience is, the most important is the GF, with ur 230GF u stick well with 300k, get another 80-90 and u'll probably reach the 500+k. If your runs last longer than 17-19sec, u'r lacking in dps, otherwise the goldfind is the matter.
 
bet he forgot the pickuprange.... buy some (14 is enough imo)

what attacks are you using? do you have tactical advantage on? whats your +crit damage ( damage as a total doesnt say mutch tbh )

i pulled in around 600 with 301 gf
now im running with 315 gf and 209mf 21 yard pickup range, i let the ferrets loot gold safe exit 20 ticks 200 delay
and pulling around 670-700k an hour. plus all the legendaries, weapons and crap i get to sell.

I use a modified version of giles loot rules v3.

My barb got 35k DPS, 19%MS, 330%GF, 23 pickup radius with the WOTB skill and sprint skill, MS can increase to 89%, lasts 15s, and average run takes 18s, the sad thing is I can't break 510GPH, any idea to help me?

Cellars found like 50%

Demon Hunter - Game Guide - Diablo III

Using Bow
16% critchance
127% critdmg
 
Get : 300ish GF without merchanery (seems like sweetspot for GF/gold), 12-15 Pickup Radius, 20K+ HP, ~25K DPS
Get a Quiver with +9-10 max discipline.
Make sure your boots has +10 movement speed if you gonna use hot pursuit, go for 12MS if you gonna stick with TA.

Passives:
Vengeance/Grenadier (doesnt matter tbh, they both let you shoot 3x Cluster Arrow.)
Tactical Advantantage / Hot Pursuit (This depends on your latency, if you get rubber banded while vaulting go with hot pursuit otherwise TA)
Steady Aim/Sharpshooter

Gearing is the key here, Your priority is:
1.Pickup Radius - ensures you dont lose time looting gold
2.-Movement speed on Boots and TA/HP passive - fastens whole run.
3.Damage - ensures you 3shot/2shot sarkoth (3 with 25K)
4.HP - ensures you dont die to zombies/quilboars

And ofc Max GF depending on your budget. Once you fulfill these you'll be making 600k GPH

Edit: Dont forget to enable "Only Ferrets Loot Gold" option at AGB, with that pickup radius they never miss a goldpile while you teleport.

I'm getting usually above 700k/h with 290 gf. And that's with a normal harddrive. It's all about getting to sark fast and killing him fast.
 
I doubt anyone is getting 500k+ at the moment as Sarkoth was nerfed last patch :(
