What would make more money, selling an account or selling gold?

I'm pretty done with WoW, just sold my main account. For some reason I SoRed an account and added a month to it because I'm an addictive one, and I want to either get the toon good to sell the account, or just farm mad gold and sell it.

How much is gold selling for at the moment? Accounts are quite down and not selling very well from what I've been looking into..

Depends on how long you're willing to invest. Not how much but HOW LONG!

If you want a quick sale, BAM you'll get a couple hundred bucks (if that) for a decent account. Its the end of an xpac and with 30% less skill added to DS, anyone can experience end game gear/mounts/content. If you would have had decent gear back in say January, then you could have sold it for a decent amount of cash.

So the reason I ask HOW LONG is because of the longjevity(is that a word?) of farming stuff to make gold. IN the long run you will make more CASH over a period of time. On my server in accordance with player auctions, gold is selling for 15 bucks for 20k gold. Say he farms up 50k a day. 30 dollars a day if he does it smart and like clockwork. You'll get your 200 bucks in around a week. maybe 8 days...

Like I said dude, depends, on how much time you're willing to invest.
 
What do you plan to bot for your gold ?
do you know how much gold you will make per day.
are you botting 24/7 or 12/12 ... ?
 
I'm fine investing time, I'm currently leveling up herbing/mining to make some money. I'm not too worried about the banhammer, so I'm really willing to bot all day long.
 
accounts dont sell, tried to sell my main account with 10 + 85's. Most of em geared and max profs / flight skill etc etc.

no one came even close to what i thought selling it for. Playing the account since beta, so not letting it go so easy.

botting for gold, well. With the current market, i dont know if its worth it. Depending on server. Maybe when mop hits, price

will rise a bit, but someone making 30 dollars a day, i love to see that.
 
I was wondering about this aswell, I figured out with the amount of time invested into my main account i'd have to charge a ridiculous amount to get back what i've paid in...

My questions are:
How important is gear when selling an account? would an account with 1 fully LFR geared char sell for more than an account with 4 fresh level 85s?
How important is the amount of gold on the account?
Do any servers in particular sell for more (high/med/low pop or pvp)
