Is RMAHing that risky?

I've seen a lot of threads about it, even on the ban form, but I keep asking myself - is it really that risky or you guys are just "researching" it?

Is it stated that Blizzard really monitores the RMAH looking for bots?

Honestly the buddy team should start muting people who post these ridiculous topics.

You are botting.

You MAY or MAY NOT be banned.

There is no avoiding this simple fact.

It's all just hearsay and guesses - you could have read the threads here to find out the same, there is no need to make another. Many many many people have sold hundreds to thousands of dollars without bans, others have sold 1 thing with bans, some sold nothing with bans. Waste of a thread again.

Has my topic questions related to your answer? Really? I'm not the one who should be muted.

First off, you make no sense. Learn some basic english.

What you are doing by posting this thread is considered "spam". You aren't special. Read one of the other 200 topics about the same thing. You're breaking blizzard's TOS. No one can tell you the percentage of being banned.

What people are trying to say is:

1.) There is always a risk of getting banned while botting
2.) Your guess is as good as anyone else's
3.) The bot isn't detected
4.) Use your best judgement and do your own research
5.) No one is an expert on WHY people get botted (not even bossland. not even any of the devs.)
6.) Literally NO ONE except (very few) Blizzard employees know why people get banned -- there are just too many factors

My bad, I misplaced "are" w/ "has". This truly makes my english speaking skills nearly incomprehensible. Even for a non native english speaker.

You're really polite aren't you? I'm not asking the percentage of being banned. I've read tons of ban reports and most of them (99%) weren't using RMAH. I was just asking if this really increases your chance of getting banned.

Iphomiej, thanks a lot! :)

Yeah, and HOW exactly would ANYONE have that answer? Please explain. Who on this forum works directly for blizzard and handles bans?

I heard kick is a blizz secret agent, but you didn't hear that from me..

i bot 24/7 on my main after the first week coz game got boring. told myself i ll quit if im banned. made $5k in profit since then. still no ban. dgaf if i get banned at all

Keeping every other variable constant, the chance of getting banned is increased by an undetermined amount if you sell on the RMAH. That's as much solid info as you'd get atm.

How can you say that? What proof/backing do you have?
