Gold sell time on RMAH

Since it went live I'm sure the gold sales have been flooded on RMAH, yesterday I sold 5m to test out and it took an hour or so. I then put up 20m and it has yet to be sold. I also put up 1m to see if it was a matter of amount being purchased that was slowing down the sale. So far my 20m and 1m haven't sold and I see gold sale price has gone up to 3.3 on the buyers side.

Anyone having better luck selling their gold? If so what are your sale times so far?

Yes, it is strange (gold buy price is higher than my offer)..

i sold 600k gold... but a 10 mil pack is just sitting there... doesn't going anywhere soon it seems

time of day/week/month has impact, it is Friday night, it is Friday the 13th, tomorrow will be better

Seems to be all over the place, I've sold 53 million in under an hour, then yesterday around the same listing time it took me about 14 hours to sell 15mil. It'd be interesting to know if it's queuing them up, or what.

I think it is queuing the listings, by time and amount most likely. Can't be completely sure, but that's what I'm thinking

I agree, but my auction ends in like 14 hours and hasn't sold yet. So I am a bit weary if gold will always sell or not, that's why I started the thread. It will be helpful for people to know, hey if I post my gold in auction and even if I get banned, at least I know it will sell and I will see some money back.

I posted close to 40 mil late in the evening, which sold middle of the night while I slept (we'll say 4 hours)

Now I have up 6 million and has not been touched listed almost at same time. Or shortly after the 40mil, it's sitting there as I type this.

Not even sure how it works, because they both should've sold near each other, one would think.

Maybe they queue your listings after your first sale. Then you don't get your gold sold until someone else has gotten a turn to sell for a first time that day
