*Update* 7/17 Accounts Now Banned
Q. Were you using DemonBuddy on the account at the same time the ban/suspension occurred? (Kicked offline due to being Banned)
A. Yes. 5 Accounts were running AGB Plugin. 3 Were Disconnected and banned instantly. The remaining 2 were still going and manually unplugged but banned about 40 minutes later. The 6th account was not running and it was a Wizard doing Sarkoth. (was running earlier in the day about 3 hours prior to bans)

Q. What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname
A. AGB combat & Generic Wizard build based on profile specifications listed above.
Q. What plugins are you using?
A. AGB only (on 5 demon hunter accounts) & Unstucker, WizardFastRuns v7d, NotificationOKclick (these 3 on the single account running Wizard)
Q. How many hours per day did you bot for?
A. Before the EU bans started, I was going 24/7. After the EU bans started I slowed down to 12-14 hours a day. I admit I got cocky and started abusing my hours to 15-18 per day the past 1-2 days max.
Q. What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
A. It varied, if I was home I would keep an eye on them and check them once every hour. Unsupervised while sleeping (obviously) and unsupervised while at school. In a 24 hour cycle I would say 40%
Q. How many auctions per day did you have?
A. 10 in gold auction house and 10 in RMAH but it was put up on my main account and it was usually crappy stuff that never sold. My main account is also NOT banned nor is my gold selling account which were both NEVER touched by bots. I launder the items/money using my friend who lives 3000 miles away.
Q. Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, Mods, or Exploits?
A. On the accounts that got banned, Yes and No. The 5 demon hunters using AGB were botted with Demonbuddy ONLY. The Wizard had many hours on it using Immortal Bot however, only Demonbuddy was used on it for the past week and It was banned 3 hours after using Demonbuddy earlier today.
Q. Was your account involved in gold selling?
A. Yes, billions of it in the past months. However, I sold it on only 1 account which I did NOT bot on (as mentioned above) and this account is also not banned.
Q. What server region where you connected to (The Americas, Europe or Asia)?
A. The Americas
I have not received an email from Blizzard yet. I will post one up if I receive one at all.
Notes
- I have 17 accounts and only 6 were banned. 2 of these accounts include my main one that I play on, and my gold selling one which were not banned and also never botted on.
- 6 accounts that were banned were all actively using Demon buddy for the past week.
- 7 of the remaining accounts which were not banned have been using Immortal Bot 12-15 hours a day since EU bans started, and 24/7 before EU bans. All 7 accounts have been inactive since patch and have been very heavily used since 2 weeks after D3 launched using Immortal ONLY.
- I have sold billions of gold since I started botting soon after D3 launched and ALL 15 botting accounts have contributed to this mass amount of gold which were all transferred to and sold by my single gold selling account which is not banned as I said before.
- There is 2 accounts that have been inactive for some time and were leveled using Demon Buddy but that was too slow so I switched to Immortal Bot to hit 60. These accounts are not banned but have been inactive since I never got around to gearing them.
- All accounts were running from 2 different computer systems. No virtual software was used and I tried ISboxer for less than an hour before I decided I didn't like it and went back to my normal method of running multiple accounts (10 different D3 installs on Computer A and B's hard drives)
Personal Thoughts
- I am confident that Demon Buddy remains undetected. Blizzard is in my opinion targeting players who are abusing hours of game play (even 12-15 hours now ... not just 24/7)
- Sarkoth has clearly become a priority target for them and probably makes their investigations easier. This doesn't mean other areas of farming are safer but probably do attract less attention if you aren't botting extensive hours.
- Gold selling hasn't proven to be a factor in the bans I have received. I have sold mass amounts of gold on an account which is not banned but also never botted on. Continue to sell gold without worrying in my opinion.
- I am not advertising Immortal Bot, but even though it's supposedly detected.... none of my IB bots were banned but have also been inactive since patch. I am also not saying DB is detected, what I am trying to say is that Blizzard is probably banning people based on specific data gathered from accounts. I have no idea what kind of data this might be, but it seems that abusing the profiles DB offers is somewhat easy to detect. The accounts banned were also accounts that I only botted on in the past 24 hours using only DB. So I don't think I was "flagged" from weeks ago, the bans were fresh and whatever caused them was something that Blizzard detected today and today only. Otherwise All my 15 botting accounts would be banned since they have all been active at least 12-15 hours a day in the past week using both DB and IB.
My advice - Take it easy on the botting for now. Blizzard is clearly stepping up their shit now (kind of ...lol). I am a 24/7 botter and accept my lost accounts but that doesn't mean I have to sacrifice the other ones at a time like this. Shutting down my systems and going to see what happens in the next few days. Good luck to all! and welcome to botting for the nubs who are crying over some lost accounts.
