Been browsing some various forums and every single one is showing bans within the past 5 hours for numerous reasons. Every type of scripts for leveling, farming gold, item farming, and a few other random scripts.

I just got BANNED using AHK to do ZK -- OwnedCore.

Just got banned for using a private AutoIt bot that I wrote. Had been using it on and off for about a week farming Iskatu, and I had barely accumulated over 10m gold. -- OwnedCore.

Many accts saying they've been banned on Sark, Core, AND other profiles (some private, some autoit, some leveling, some goblin farmers), anywhere from 20 hours -total- to 24/7. -- OwnedCore.

Many d2jsp accts banned today for virtually every bot type that exists. - d2JSP

Reddit reports a few bans but those get shot down pretty quick (locked/flamed/deleted)

Blizzhackers/D3Advanced is showing bans for just about every "bot" type activity you can think of.

D3Mimic is showing bans on their forums.

Basically just search "banned" on any botting/hacking forum and you'll find bans for nearly every third party program reason out there from today.

Honestly? All I can say is it's about damn time. The overflow of bots have sunk this economy entirely. (everyone is to blame, including me) but from a general gamer's perspective; it more than ruined nearly any chance of an average gamer making money with a single account. I say nearly because some lucky sob's got decent items pretty fast right out of the gate. =) I made more $ from some of the pot breaking runs/selling items pre-nerf than I did botting with 8 accts for 2 months @ ~600k/hr. (6 sark, 2 core (wizards))

A burden has definitely been lifted though, I can finally walk away from this horrendously boring time-sink.

Yes my leveling bot was banned, the account was fresh on Sunday night, doing ZK runs.

Yeah they keep showing up, way too many to be live bans, definitely flagging involved which makes me wonder exactly how long it was. No longer than a week, no shorter than 2 days.

Well it's definitely not a banwave, or else all DB users (those who used the bot for as little as 1 minute to as much as 24/7 botting) would of been banned. Bossland had a bot for Rift that I was unfortunately a user of and we got hit with banwaves 2 times before I said time to GTFO.

Now as far as Blizzard putting scripts or whatever in place to keep tabs on all of us and seeing who's been logged in for days at a time or who has made 1000+ Act 1 games is possible but I don't think they'd sink the time and effort into doing that as they are trying to save the game from dying off not even 90 days after launch. It really does boggle my mind why they are combating botters when botting isn't really profitable anymore unless you have an insane number of accounts due to the price of gold being pretty much nothing. You would think that they would be focusing all their energy at making the endgame worth while, etc...

The economy of the game was killed a couple weeks after the game launched due to bots that were developed in the open beta phase of D3, so they can't say "We're saving the economy by banning botters!" Add that to the fact that Warden wasn't even implemented til almost a month after launch so in a sense Blizzard contributed to botters, lol.

Anyways, so either people are REALLY unlucky or there's an unknown variable at which is setting the red flag off and god knows what that could be.

EDIT: Also people that reported bannings on Ownedcore.com probably did a few other things besides auto-it scripts, etc... that could of got them banned as well. It is an exploit site after all :P

Economy is killed because good items don't drop though. I've done hundreds of A1 Butcher runs, hundreds of A2 runs both pre and post patch, tons of A3 Resplendant Chest farming and ~70 full A3 clears (takes me 1h40 minutes to clear all champs from start to end) reality is I haven't found a single 1000+ DPS 1h or 1300+ DPS 2h. Lots of 900ish but it seems Blizzard is simply put withholding loot inflating the price on the nicest stuff to ridicilous levels. For me personally Diablo is about perfecting a build and a character but since I can't even find items anywhere near perfect either in game or on the auction house @ any price I quit today. Gonna keep running bot 24\7 till it dies, keep money for when it might be worth playing again.

It would be okey if you could find a 1200 DPS 1h every 100 hours played or so and perhaps luck out at some point and find a 1300+ but when you can't even find a 1000+ and what you're really looking for is a 1300+ with insane stats, it gets booring.

Half of what you say doesn't even make sense. I'm actively on many sites, doesn't mean I use anything else. I have not and will not ever use auto-it. Ban-waves are when many people are flagged for X reason and then banned during the same time which is exactly what happened here. Many people flagged over a period of time and then banned during the same time. Doesn't mean the bot is detected, still means it's a ban wave though. There are hundreds if not thousands of bans across all of the sites listed today alone for MANY different violations. It's not just "unlucky", it's proactive watching of users doing popular farm locations. There have been quite a few people banned just doing ZK runs (not even 60 yet). Feel free to do research first, many posts on this information floating around on these forums alone.

Been botting over 300hours, gained roughly 400k gph, and I've not got a ban yet, fingers crossed... they just think I play 24/7

Everything I said made sense :)

I've read all the posts about people getting banned on this forum and on ownedcore, and like I said it's not a banwave. Banwave would be ALL of us getting the hammer and not just 20-50 DB users, and then a handful of script kiddies here and there. There's no detection thus far on DB or the auth server would be taken down ASAP and pretty much everyone who even ran Demonbuddy.exe would of been banned. Google Ryftomate to see what a real banwave consists of.

And yes it is "unlucky" at this stage that people are getting banned or else we'd all be banned because I can guarantee that 99% of DB users are running Sarkoth as DH with AGB profile, so if there was some sort of detection in place we'd all get the hammer.

Sorry your account(s) got banned, but just because you and maybe 100 other people on various other forums were banned doesn't mean you have to come to forums and scream 'banwave' because this is not the case... YET :)

Let's chant Ryftomate 100 times together to turn those fond memories back into reality with our collective consciousness.

LOL! Trust me I hate having to bring it up cause I took a huge hit... TWICE! but some people need to know the difference between a real banwave and a couple accounts being banned. Mind you, when refering to the recent bannings as 'a couple accounts', I am comparing it to the larger scale of things cause there are thousands of botters out there, so a few hundred doesn't constitute a banwave.

Ryftomate was a program detection, not a profile detection. I used it on my Main and the rest was history,

all the accts of mine that where banned had not played through all the acts. IE i used my main to jump then around. ZK (none script manual ect) to 25, then jump them to Nightmare and manual follow my IB bot doing core runs for xp. Once 50 I used the hell ZK and end mob quest turn in when it was like 90k.

Then I flagged them for inferno and did sark. The accts that I have that played through the quests are not banned. Just some more info not sure if it matters.

its not rocket science guys...
If you are online for over 16hrs you get banned ...

I know china farmers that sleep in the same room and take turns playing the same account, they DO NOT BOT they keep the account going 24/7 and have never botted, they got banned ;)

In reagrds to the above post thats interesting you look like a bot so you got treated like one, mix it up, play your accounts...

What kind of guy will buy a account get his friend to rush him to power leveling spots and then go run sarth for the rest of his life??? Noone, looks suss, they dont even have to make a judgment call because anyone with signatures like the above defiantly are not human i dont care what you say, no one will argue for they know they are in the wrong...

DH -	37 Hours 35 Minutes
Monk -	953 Hours 33 Minutes
WD -	57 Hours 9 Minutes
Wizard -	41 Hours 52 Minutes

1984 Hours 30 Minutes game playing and I never close my computer and my account always logged in. should I think "I'm lucky" ?

Or u mean with "online" 24/7 game playing?

You should consider yourself lucky for not being banned for bumping a 5 month old thread with a useless post.
