Got this off BLizzhackers.

Currently DemonBuddy is a very basic and predictable bot that is not at all random and is dependent on profiles which scares me.

sorry for caps, but it's important :

Tonight i received a mail of one of my friend who is working in blizzard design department. He have heard and talk with devloppers about a warden which will scan non random actions, the warden was apprently already launched for auctions actions (so some auction bot will and should have already get banned) and in some days ( he heard this 3 days ago) they will do this for ingame actions, ESPACIALY for sarkoth runs, due to the fact the numbr of player doing this boss is too large and it is known that many bots are farming this spot.

What i recomand : put mass random shit in all your scrpits, with delays and locations randomed, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET BANNED randomise your scripts or don't run them anylonger!!

I have a friend who has a cousin that has a neighbor that fucked this chick one time that got herpies from this dude who lived next door to this one guy that got gas from this station in the next town over and he talked to the gasstation guy and he said he heard from his kids best friend that he heard from a kid on line that D3 was doing a banwave of Demonbuddy bots!!!!

i wasnt saying people havent been getting banned, but im just going to throw this out there and say its extremely unlikely for the reasons you quoted, especially the AH botters.
 
The less then 1% of DB Users? If your statement is true shouldn't it be like 98% of users saying they are banned?
 
In US interrogation training at NMITC they always told us 4th hand information was the most reliable...

What's with people attacking OP? We know only people in Europe have been getting banned. Isn't this a legitimate cause for concern? Is it really such a smart idea to be lambasting OP and ignoring a possible problem?

obviously people playing on US should be concerned, i have 3 bots running 24/7 but ive accepted the fact that one day soon ill wake up in the morning to find all 3 banned. but the OP's quote is based on nothing but hearsay evidence, or possibly just completely made up.

if youve read ban threads across different forums youd see that anything people have tried to hide their botting (different profiles, random sleeps, ***) has failed and still been banned. nothing hides obvious shit that blizzard has easy access to (gold picked up, games created, length of games etc). adding slight randomness to the waypoints isnt going to hide that.

It's what people do when they are scared. They lash out and try to make themselves feel safer from the ban hammer by lashing out at the messenger, lol. Sad but true from what I've seen in this forum since the first ban thread was created.

Probably bullshit, but I've actually been thinking about this. To somehow randomize the path to Sarkoth and not use the same hotspots every time.

And this is coming from a company "blizzard" that coders forgot simple things like.. Rolling your computer time back to cancel an auction and get money at the same time as the item back. Some how i don't think they will be doing this, Seems way to smart for them.
