Templated Banned Subforum or Im Out

While I'm skeptical about whether Sarkoth is a trap per se and unnerfed for this very reason, I wouldn't be surprised to find people running Sarkoth scripts are getting ninja-flagged then banned. It's like refusing to bulldoze down a specific area of a city known for being full of drug dealers and gangs while stationing a few police officers in the same area to catch people.

someone watched the wire too much :)

Super...

I'll have a laugh after you post your banned main account in the new forum.

SUPER, I won't make a post, because I know what has a chance of happening when you bot, you get banned. I don't need to tell the world.

Well since your only posting illiterate noob qqing posts, and have no intention of posting anything useful now or in the future, I?m going to stop acknowledging you?re here.
Go take up a new hobby, like playing tiddly-winks alone in the closet. :D

Hah, never heard of that show.

But yeah, I think we can all agree at this point. No bot is 100% stealthy. Even the ones that don't leave any trails of evidence can't protect you from Blizzard tracking how many times your bot is killing sarkoth and how much gold you're raking in. The best way to go about using DB's bot is to assume you could get banned the next day. There's no point panicking as we bought these bots knowing we could get caught some day.

I've by now made a decent amount from my one single bot. I probably bot about anywhere between 8-15 hours a day. I'd rather not get caught, but if I do, I'm not going to shed a tear. For about $30, I had a lot of fun learning how to program the bot and I got the gold I wanted from it.

They log every game no, nor they do need to log every 100% of the games. You can log 10 games, did those 10 games match perfectly every move; if yes move to further monitoring. Take those accounts that make it past that point, log 50 of their games. Did they again match up; if yes move to another round. Log 100 games, match up yes? Move to further investigation into other actions of what they were doing.

You will get banned eventually. The point is to make even more with the next account. However, we won't even have a chance since we dont have any information to look at and adjust from. We need the ban reports to point us in the right direction.

Lets face it you can detect a sarf bot on 1000 different levels.

Blizzard gets more money if they wait....

HAHAHA threatening the dev's that you are going to quit unless they create a subforum you want...classic!

You had a hunch and got lucky that hunch came true. You haven't proved anything either. The bans so far are not only because of sarkoth, so don't think you proved anything to anyone here.

Although I do agree that a subforum would be helpful, do you really think that it will stop people from opening these "I was banned qq" threads? Look at HB, people still post about being banned in the wrong section all the time with very little info.

You're*, if you want to bring literacy into the fight. Also, maybe you should take up a new hobby, since you suck at theorycrafting, on how botting is done/detected.

There's no point laughing at him. He's just taking a stand with a public announcement. I interpret his "threat" to request a refund as a protest vote.

And that's not to say his points lack validity. I think we're all in agreement a "I got banned - here's what happened" subforum wold be really helpful. But on the flipside, some would say it's better to keep all the data concerning banned users secret and only examinable by Team DB.

i made a template when the bot went live, and ok'ed it with hawker, i even made one for Buddywing while i was at it, better have it and not need it then need it and not have it. while i dont know why i hasnt been done yet (probably because bosslands out of the country *last time i checked*) ill run it by people again when they wake up. i kinda misplaced my copy of the template i wrote but hawker should have a copy, for whatever reason i have the BW one but not the DB one.

Sarkoth is a trap.

Instead of nerfing him months ago Blizzard used a script...

I warned about exactly this in a prior post (before there was a single ban), but it was deleted and I was suspended. Because I "cursed? at a troll in the post, meanwhile I see senior members and devs here calling people "f@cking idiots." Not to mention, I was obviously correct.

Honestly, I've been lurking around awhile and have helped with more than a handful of wow scripts, and wrote a guide on making money multiboxing wow. Which people sent me PMs thanking me for over a year.

I sick over noobs and staff qq over "I'm banned" posts. There should be a subforum here with a standard template to report banned accounts. This way we can summarize the data, and adjust. Please will also know what they need to post. Right now we are all just deer in the headlights botting on accounts worth over $500. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars I paid for DB and HB sessions.

I want to see a separate forum full of templated posts by people that were banned using your bot. Not watched them get moved to another forum because they're a suspected troll....

I?ll be asking for my money back if it doesn?t happen. As of now the bot is only capable of running simple scripts that are sure to get banned eventually, just like uldum in wow. But it?s even worse, because EVERYONE, is using pretty much using the same script.

Maybe Blizzard is lacking the resources since the game launched recently, but it?s not going to take long for them to completely figure this out?

Honestly, you guys know you could have done better....

You had my full support before, but the last post and suspension left a bad taste in my mouth and the ignorance on this forum is delaying the bots progression. Now I want a useable product or my money back, either refund or chargeback.

A pinned thread in the general section would be perfectly adequate. Don't make ppl have to navigate to a sub-forum.

Thank you,

Hopefully we can do some datamining and get to the bottom of these bans.

i agree, i also thought that each product needed its own ban section. the time has come to where we now need it, so like i said when people wake up, ill bring the subject back up.

in case anyone was wondering here the one for buddy wing.
1)Were you using where you using BuddyWing on the account at the time the ban / suspension occurred?

2)If not, when was the last time?:

3)If using a public profile please name it here:

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:

5)What plugins are you using?:

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, Mods, or Exploits?

9)Was your account involved in credit selling?

Looks good minus " 1)Were you using where you using BuddyWing on the account at the time the ban / suspension occurred?"

please mam do not give me bubble spray from your gun, it really hurts.

Part of the template should also include 'total gold looted' - it's viewable in your profile. Only reason I suggest this is because a botter will have an insanely high number, while someone who plays by hand would have a much lower number. i.e. account 1 has looted 54,723,185 gold; account 2 has looted 98,242,636 gold. It may be used as a way to monitor botters etc, but we won't know unless we can see a trend.

if your banned, you cant see that. so kinda hard to get, unless you where keeping track of it.
