RAF + Playing Lazyraider + Assist partybot

you dont need lazyraider with this. and yes, it will auto-combat whatever the tank attacks.
 
I got a question how can I use this for just following randoms in a instance? do i place Party1 or something instead of name will that work>?

If it cannot find the name you wrote, it will just follow the first party-member. I'm going to implement some tank logic instead of this.

And to answer Atticus - yes! It will initiate combat.
It checks for the tanks target. And if his target is targetting anyone from your group, it will attack it. I'm also gonna improve on this a bit so it should work with raid aswell.
 
btw what do you think is best? To check for group/raid role, or just go through everyone and check for highest HP pool in order to determine the tank?
Checking for HP is def. the easiest for me :P

I made this plugin quickly last night for the same purpose, and i've done a few dungeons without any problems. I manually tabbed over to the bot to roll on loot (but you should be able to get AutoEquip to roll for it automatically?).
Another thing you should be aware of, is that if your group takes a shortcut (jumps down), you have to do that on the bot aswell. I'm thinking about fixing that, but I've been too lazy to do it yet ^^

To use it - open the file and search for "Playername" and replace it with the name of the char it should be following.
Use combat bot and enable the plugin.
You don't need to run HB on the tank.
If the bot dies, you have to run back manually.

EDIT: I decided to make it able to follow in shortcuts aswell. Please redownload if you got the old version :)

Why is it that it wont show up in my plugins? its in the folder and everything...

I couldn't possibly know. I can't imagine anything else conflicting with it, but for the sake of making sure, you could try a fresh HB install

I don't know what to say.. It worked for me and many others as you can see.. You are putting it in the plugins folder, right? And you should find it when you click the "Plugins" button in HB.

you said "Just use dungeonbuddy with your second bot in "Follower" mode" which sounds like ---Hey dude use two bots and have the second one in follower mode--- So again to be clearer since my post wasn't all that clear, i want play the first account and bot the second. Dungeonbuddy is way beyond buggy for me right now.

So i got my dungeon buddy working and guess what follower mode follows the tank not me, which is what i dont want. It also doesnt allow me to choose a follow distance/sigh

Ah, i never saw your original post what you really wanted, i was referring to the thread title.

Only using Lazyraider doesnt work anymore? Because this would do what you want, follow you and choose a distance etc.

Well the problem im running into is not just following me but keeping up with me. Half the time the bot wants to stop. I get in a lot of great groups that speed pull for days, problem i run into with lazy raider is 99% of the time after battle starts, it just sits there.

Thats a CC Problem.

The Botbase itself doesnt handle it as soon as combat starts.

a CC with movement could help, but yeah, it wouldnt follow you, it would follow the mobs while in combat.

Which brings me back to my original problem, I can't get this damn plugin to show up in my HB install for nothing. Still trying to figure out why.
