Accounts banned

Yeah I'm leveling a barb right now, ~20 hours into it im at level 52. Hand played, that is.

Sorry to hear about this. Don't suppose those of you reporting bans could confirm which servers (EU or US) you were on?

And did you ever use any autohotkey/macro style programs to automate anything (auction house automation, quest-running/exploits when levelling)?

The EU/US thing I'm particularly keen on seeing if we can gather info on, I've always run on the assumption EU Blizzard doesn't care too much and US Blizzard bans more often and tracks bots more frequently but I could be wrong.

Redoing this thread then. Just got 6/6 accounts banned, only used DB, nothing else, no exploits, or cheats of any kind.

No email yet, just impossible to connect with the ban message, and the status changed to "banned" on battle.net

Facts (Only speaking for myself)

- No other bots / cheats / exploits used on the accs
- Different emails, names, addresses
- 4/6 were bought through battle.net with accounts I personally made, 2/6 were accounts bought off legit people that stopped playing
- EU
- No email as of now
- Can't login (banned message)
- D3 status in Battle.net changed to banned

Did you happen to be using ISboxer or any third party software along with demonbuddy to run D3? From what I gathered after reading this thread (Any words for multiboxing yet? - Forums - Diablo III), this would be against their Terms of Use and may have resulted in you getting your account looked into, leading them to believe you were botting. Let me know what everyone thinks about this possibility.

Pretty sure there are a lot more than just two people who use ISBoxer.... including me. not banned yet

also if you go quite a few pages in you'll find this.

At this moment, the relevant sections of the TOU for WoW and D3 are identical, it is therefore safe to assume their policy towards multiboxing in D3 will be the same, for now.

The only thing I used apart from DB was ISBoxer, which isn't against the TOS

The banned AccountS were running a lot, yes, but not 24/7

The one's that were banned, you were using your main as gold storage right?
Out of curiosity how much gold do you transfer to your main at one time? Anyone for that matter.

Was a huge ban on those auto it AH bots today. Was just reading ownedcore forums about it.

I got 6/8 of my accounts banned, have only been using Demonbuddy. (No other hacks or weird stuff of any kind)

Accounts banned:
4 DH @ sarkoth, AGB
2 Barbarians I used to farm sarkoth with, were offline at the time of the ban.

Accounts not banned:
Main account, used as gold storage, traded directly with bots. Never injected with buddy.
Fresh bought DH from friend, not used anything with him before. Was botting at the time of the ban.

Only used Demonbuddy with these, didn't have anyone expect main acct on friends list. Never joined a public game.

2 DH:s who were banned were only 4 days old, and levelled with Demonbuddy 1-60. (That is the timeframe they got flagged somehow?)

As there is no bigger banwave, the bot is probably still safe. As this is still 300? loss to me just counting accs, it still makes me a bit cautious about buying new ones.

Most annoying thing is that I finally got my DH:s to run 700kgph just before the ban and didn't have time to reap the benefits :D

How much were you botting?

Just a quick question since you guys seem knowledgeable in bans. I only have 2 accounts that I'm alternating between, so I'll bot 12 hours on one account and then the other will take another 12 hour shift. I'm not changing my IP/Hardware ID or doing any sort of masking at all though. Is this still safer than 24/7 botting on a single account?

No, I didn't transfer gold to my main. I wanted no links whatsoever.

Kick, I didn't farm 24/7.

Relax...call Blizzard and find out what's going on.

Not need to speculate until we get more information. There have been a number of billing and server errors that have caused these issues before. Follow through and see what the reasons are before you start panicking.

I'm not panicking, and I'm not blaming anyone, I botted, I knew the risks.

This thread serves only to inform other users about what happened, and how they can maybe prevent it.

I was banned on four accounts but I don't think it was a direct result of using DemonBuddy. I had over 100 million gold picked up on 3 accounts. What's weird is that I got an email stating that I was banned for fraud on all 4 accounts. I haven't sold gold or anything like that.

So hard to say why you got tagged when other people are running the same setup 24/7 :( ..... *grabs tinfoil hat* Psychological torture blizz is pickin us off slowly.... jk :(

1st. sry for bad english
Maybe you bottet 6 Acc's from one IP-Adresse or did you change every Diablo over an own adress ?
i think looks strange to see 6 Accs doing the same every day from the same IP

Just a thought.
