Accounts banned

Have you sold any gold at all?

Yup, only to private buyers, no wholesalers, no chinese, no lvl1 toons from chinese accounts.

Only sold from ONE bot account, the other 5 never entered a game with someone else apart from my main account.

How did you level your bots to 60? Ever used the kulle exploit? I mean the one where you kill him once and basically turn in the quest 1000 times over.

I went with kulle "exploit" 1-25 for 2 newest DHs who got banned, but I doubt that is the reason.

Might have triggered some kind of goldselling flag from trading gold continuously with my main char?

I also made tickets for all the banned accounts, will post responses when my fate is decided :)

No emails yet, put in a ticket on ONE account (if I do all six at the same time, too suspicious).

Edit: I went with all 6 at same time, might have been last mistake :/

Did it for one character, using my main as well. So it's not that.

to me
Greetings,

* * * NOTICE OF ACCOUNT CLOSURE * * *

A user of this account has recently been involved in actions deemed inappropriate for Diablo III by the In-Game Support staff of Blizzard Entertainment. This decision was made after a thorough investigation of the situation as a whole. Though we are unable to discuss the outcomes of our investigations due to privacy concerns, rest assured that this incident has been looked into very thoroughly, and the appropriate actions have been taken on all involved accounts.

Account Action: Account Closure
Offense: Unapproved Third Party Software
A third party program is any file or program that is used in addition to the game to gain an unfair advantage. These programs may increase movement speed or teleport heroes from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files.

Cheat Programs ("Hacks")
We take action against accounts using hacks when a hero on the account is identified using a hack program. Hacks provide benefits normally not achievable in the game. Such benefits may include: increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls.

Automation Programs ("Bots")
We take action against accounts using automation programs or bots when one or more heroes on the account are identified using a bot to achieve automation.

This Diablo III account has been closed by our staff based on a review of the account and all related policy violations, in accordance with the Terms of Use and our In-Game Policies (Diablo III Policies - Battle.net Support). Note that any open bids or auctions at the time of the account’s closure have been cancelled. Your open bids will be refunded to your original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 days for processing depending on the availability of your financial institution. Any bids or auctions completed prior to the account’s closure will neither be refunded nor reversed.

Moving forward, this Diablo III account and any Heroes or items associated with the account are no longer accessible. The only way to continue playing Diablo III is to purchase a new license, or to attempt to recover access by appealing account closure. While closure overturns are very unlikely, we advise that customers pursuing an appeal hold off on purchasing a new Diablo III license until the appeal process has completed. If you add a new Diablo III license, a new account will overwrite your old, without any prior Heroes or items from the closed account.

Any disputes or questions concerning this account action can only be addressed by Account Administration. To learn more about how Account Administration is able to assist you, and how to contact them via online ticket, please visit us at Account Administration Overview - Battle.net Support. We will be unable to investigate account actions over the phone - an online ticket is the only way to contact Account Administration.

We understand that these policies may seem harsh, but they are in place to ensure that every player is able to fully enjoy their time spent on Battle.net. Thank you in advance for respecting our position.

Regards,

Redoing this thread then. Just got 6/6 accounts banned, only used DB, nothing else, no exploits, or cheats of any kind.

No email yet, just impossible to connect with the ban message, and the status changed to "banned" on battle.net

Facts (Only speaking for myself)

- No other bots / cheats / exploits used on the accs
- Different emails, names, addresses
- 4/6 were bought through battle.net with accounts I personally made, 2/6 were accounts bought off legit people that stopped playing
- EU
- No email as of now
- Can't login (banned message)
- D3 status in Battle.net changed to banned

where you using innerspace isboxer to log multi screens on? I noticed the top left hand corner of your screen is the same as mine when I box eq2. That could have played a part in it.

Multiboxing is not against TOS, several blue posts have confirmed that. ISBoxer does not change the game whatsoever, just allows you to multibox.

I know what it is I have used it for years on eq2. Im just saying it is a third party software. Never know since this game is new what it will and wont allow.

Except he already said there have been multiple blue posts about the issue of multiboxing and blizzard is fine with it.

Yes in WoW, and yet people have still been banned and said to be botting when they only used isboxer. Look im not saying that was the reason just saying MAYBE could play a part. Maybe they can see how many diablo.exe are loaded from one install ect and it makes them take a closer look.

Or it could set of some kinda flag on warden for review and after the review they can locate DB was active as well. Im just saying it COULD HAVE played a part lol.

Warden is only allowed to scan Diablo III.exe, nothing else.

Submitted a ticket on one acc, will let you know when I get an answer.

In the meantime, any other questions?

saw your thread on OC. some got banned for using AH bots. did you by any chance use any AH/autoit scripts?

well if you were multiboxing 6 toons without vms, then yeah, unfortunately it is because of that. It doesn't really matter whether or not multiboxing is against the ToS, botting is. I made this mistake myself with wow (ran 9 wows + Pocket Gnomes ) from the same computer (without vms) and all of them got hit. Ever since then, I only multibox max 2 toons per "hardware" (vms spoof all the hardware ids). It comes down to 1). if you are botting for gold/profit with multiboxing 6 d3a from the same "hardware id, ie ethernet ID," and 2). how do u value the ratio of profit per account. If you value the accounts, then i personally only run 2 per hardware id config, if you don't, multibox as many as u can and rake in the cash as long as u can.

Ultimately, i've learned through the past that blizzard does look at ethernet ids to determine whether or not u are running multiple clients to bot.

Overall, if you value account safety, then I recommend using a VM for more than 2 accounts running per machine. Yes, you can't run as many d3s, but its the price to pay if you do not wish to have a little banwave over all your accounts, especially if you are running 24/7.

Edit: I can say that this is not warden related whatsoever.

No in diablo. I've seen blue posts about the issue. People have also been banned for running wow under linux and for using a keyboard with special macros... so it could be a wide variety of things

Completely false. My main account is untouched, and has been running off the same HWID, IP and MAC as the bots, in a different ISBoxer window. It's not banned.

Agree 100%, had 6 bots + main account running at same time (without any software, just diff folders and -launch)

Main still untouched.

1/6 accounts banned. 1 account (main) was never used for botting. The only account banned ran both DemonBuddy briefly and an AH bot for hours/days at a time. Other 4 accounts have not been banned and were used for AH botting only so for now I'm assuming in my case it was DemonBuddy.
