Since day 1 this bot has only been useful for good farming in some pretty lame areas that will prob be fixed or slightly nerfed cuz we all know blizzard hates botters and will put anything in the game that they can to stop us from profiting, especially with the rmah in effect.

My question to the guys at DB is how far from being able to farm nonstatic areas and such? When will we have combat rusles that avoid things like molten and plagued, etc? I'm not trying to be a dick or pushy, but I just wanted to hear it froma dev - how far from a functional bot that can kill nontrivial monsters do you think you are? I have all the respect in the world for you guys, but I do think you guys can be pretty shy. The community of diablo botters is, for lack of better words, pretty embarassing to be a part of. The maturity level feels akin to children playing in a sand box fighting over the best shovel, and the overall consensus is "HAND ME GG BOT ON SILVER PLATTER I GO AFK U FIX IT OK?" Which for us seasoned botters we know that's not how it works...

Truly, you guys are awesome, but do you have ANY news you can tell us? The Mods like to talk, but its mostly just telling the children how to properly post for support... I want dev news :) any juice? <3

That being said, the Botting community wants to help in the process too. What can WE do to aid you? Anything?

Well end of rant... But tldr we love you but what the frigs goin on back there? :)

Edit: I know its 2012 acct, but I have separate HB acct for many years as well as many other Bottinglolol communities.

I heard they were working on it. Some post had a mod say so. Also if they want to bot to do 1-60 it has to do the entire questing. When you buy the bot it says it has the capabilities to do 1-60 therefore meaning that it will be able to farm those zones it is just a matter of time before it is able to do so.

I like how the entire post reads:

[You guys are awesome] [BUT] [We need a better bot].

not exactly super helpful??

atm we're focused on non-random dungeon stuff. But once random dungeons are explorable... i'm the first one fiddling with it =P

That's kind of a bummer to hear :( there isn't much static stuff worth farming , due to blizzards stance on farming static content.

I appreciate the honesty though :) ill keep my fingers crossed that this happens soon. Another user did make a pretty good point that some major boasts on the official release thread aren't rly there... But oh well. I guess ill have to ride out the gold farming until electricity costs more than the $ u make from it... So like 5-10 more days? Hahah! Jk :)

Apoc has a proof of concept working but is on vacation. It will be done after he returns.

Thanks for the update. Any updates from official devs regarding where functionality sits is always appreciated by the serious botters here. This probably deserves a thread of its own, but I think an RSS feed of all official Buddy posts would benefit the community greatly, much like MMO Champion's Blue Posts section. Personally when I browse the forums here I'm almost always just skimming them to find official dev comments.

Anyways, keep up the good work and we'll gladly keep paying.
