Mysterious fortune cards

Would it be good idea to farm heartblossom,and make tons of mysterious fortune cards,and then opening them? Like how much do u guys think i could make from 1k cards?

Mysterious Fortune Card - Item - World of Warcraft

Here's my data of using 1000 cards. 1514.9 gold - 1.5g / card

I used 132 Mysterious Fortune Cards and recieved 173 gold.

Spent 1.6k on 107 cards. Opened them all up. Lost 1150g.

This one is kinda wrong cost of cards, 107 cards only cost 600g to make.

And 1 person who spent 50k gold and got 20k (-30k)

It is not worth opening your cards.

I would recommend inscription or alchemy.
Havent used alchemy at 85 at all, used it only at 80. But inscription is really good.
Otherwise, it is probably best to gather something else while you sell of what you got.

People on wowhead that are crating Mysterious Fortune Cards aren't botters/farmers, I get 150g profit everytime I flip the cards, yesterday, I got 5000g+ profit because I got an epic card.

The only cost I have are the Resillient Parchments, the herbs I farm them and then mill them.

But no, it's not worth it if you have to buy the herbs from AH.

A herb is worth the same no matter if you BUY it or GATHER it. (except ah cut+the time it takes to put it on ah, but it is more time to turn them into cards anyway)

If you have herbs with a value of 5000 gold.
You claim that it is better to:
Use them to make cards and flip them and only get 1400 gold out of it.
Instead of:
Selling them on ah and get 5000 gold of it.

Numbers from: Crafting cost: ~5.5g / card from buying herbs at ah. People estimate it to be worth 1.5g / card but might be slightly more. 1364 = (5000 / 5.5) * 1.5

Ofcourse it can be hard to get them sold, but then it would be better to use them for other professions or gather something else aswell so you dont get 500000 herbs.

If you're on a low-pop server you can make an absolute fortune from these cards. Make sure you first buy any cards on the AH that are under 30g. Next, put your cards on the AH in stacks of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 100 and 200. Don't put too many stacks, you want it to look like you don't have LOADS but instead keep restocking when people buy.

Start barking. You can google about "Mysterious Fortune Card Barking" if you don't know what this is. Make sure to link the 5000g epic card in your barks. An example bark is:

"Is luck on your side? [Mysterious Fortune Card] now on AH! Only 30g for a chance to win 500, 1000 or even a 5000g [Fortune Card]! Multiple stack sizes available for you high rollers!"

On a low pop server I managed to clear 16k worth of cards in under 2 hours. There may be a few people who clock on to what you're doing and start posting there own. Either buy them out or start undercutting. The cards will sell like crazy, I guarantee. At the end of the night when you have to leave soon, switch your barks to say something with "last batch" and "once they're gone, they're gone!" and keep a very low supply on the AH which you again refill as they get bought.

Yes, you are correct.
At the moment, I have ~65 stacks of Whiptail that can make me 2500g in AH.
I'm currently milling them and making Darkmoon Cards.
Will do the same but for Mysterious Fortune Cards and let you know how much profit I got.
