Upsized the main HDD and GFX Card, logged into Diablo 3, and "Change in access pattern" verification window pops up.

I run the same bnet account on three computers from three different ips and have never had this happen. I also run 9 others on these same ips and various computers and have never had that happen.

Well I guess it's because that's your "pattern". If he has been on only 1 computer for years and suddenly it's a "new computer", it's a change in access pattern.

Hmm this would mean that if i change the CPU or memory on my Virtual machine (mac parallels).... and use a VPN i can make blizz think my acc is hacked.... and dupe my 50mil.... good thinking thanks!

It happened to me last night as well when I logged one of them in from a laptop I usually use other toons on.

My guess is because he upsized his main HDD. That would need a new windows installation (or a clone of his other drive - but windows still acts as if it's a new pc)

I got the same thing last night, i logged in on my laptop that i use along with my desktop every day (diferent isp, vacation) very strange.

Do you guys use authenticators? Never had that pop up, and I log in from everywhere. :)

Did you even read my post? If you play from 3 computers - then that is your pattern. People login with different patterns.
