This has happened before to another company and as it will for sure be referenced I figured I would pass this on to the admins. Subsequently with that company we lost our program and our money glad to see you guys are offering refunds if the judgement shuts down the bot.

"World of Warcraft owners Blizzard have won their case against the programmer who wrote Glider, Michael Donnelly. Blizzard won on two arguments: first, that if a game is loaded into RAM, that can be considered an unauthorized copy of the game and as such a breach of copyright; second, that selling Glider was interfering with Blizzard's contractual relationship with its customers. The net effect? If you buy a game, you transfer rights to the game developer that they can sue you for." -Xavias

NOTE TO USERS: My account was not banned after the lawsuit and they were not made divulge any info on there subscribers

this has happened before on Honorbuddy,so we are experienced :)

Happened in the USA, so this holds 0 value in Germany.

@tony that is refreshing news seeing as it is still running

@Giwin The case that started wowgliders shut down did take place in the US but subsequently there Netherlands site (which came later) also lost there case. So I figured it would be important to post even though I seen they were based in Germany.

and a question for support would it be possible if demonbuddy gets shut down just to transfer to say tankleader or another program affiliate?

I'm a bit confused Tony, Are you saying that Honorbuddy had an injunction as well which was removed.. I know Honorbuddy is still in court, but I didn't think Blizzard tried to stop sales or stop people from using it.

not an injunction, as far as we know, but they do have a lawsuit against bossland due to honorbuddy, just like what happened to glider.

is the current injunction just to stop sales or is it also for usage

Sales and Download..... And applies to Germany mainly... But shouldn't affect existing customers.. But not sure what "Download" means as in sending out new clients etc.. Guess thats what we are waiting to hear...

this, and to those saying HB didnt have a injunction ? I thought it did and was down for a few days till the hearing pressed onto a actual court case and then was allowed to run so long as the case was indefinite as to who won? been a while I might be wrong but I think I recall a time when hb had a postpone as well.

And the injunction now is vague.... it doesnt specify but for the saftey of each of the developers it is on hold till further contact with a lawyer can verify the correct details and or it is lifted or permd

The Honorbuddy renegades came from Glider, they're no strangers to owning Blizzard.

yeah just was hoping to have demonbuddy less than a week got a lot done in that time but still back to using afixe mouse recorder to get my botting on

I dunno if Bossland will win, but i respect him for trying and i value his loyalty, glider was a good bot and i miss it and i'll highly miss DB if that ever happens.
