What's the purpose of playing hardcore? Do you loot more gold? Or just items sell for more at the auction house?

There's a little prestige in an otherwise boring game.


No additional loot or gold, but yeah the gold on Hardcore tend to be worth more $$ pr mil than on Softcore for obvious reasons!

I see. But on the other side you don't have real money auction house, so you have to directly sell the gold to someone, with the risks that it has.

Well, just theorycrafting a hardcore botting build. You would want:

Life After kill, 1000+
Thorns, 12000+
HP 40k
Life Regen 1000
Allres 350

At least like this, you could bot Nightmare for gold with more or less zero risk. Even if bot shuts off thorns will be enough to kill the mobs and any mobs that for any reason don't kill themselved on Thorns you still stay alive.

you can easily gear your enchantress to 4-5k ish dmg, that would do the trick aswell.

gold on HC is useless except for yourselves...
price is too high, so nobody buying it alot
