Prepaid don't work.

Prepaid doesn't work because they charge you for every sms (i guess local rate, so basically every time they send you an sms it's like you send one to your mate). A prepaid can be left uncharged so their system wouldn't work. Same with VoIP. So they don't allow them.

Have you tried google numbers? they are free, I',m sure you can get a local EU number

I believe the problem is that Bliz somehow identifies prepaid and voip numbers and doesn't let you sign up for the sms program. Must be a data plan or something.
