Hi!

For my opinion! i stopped botting today because:

-) Gold selling isnt worth anymore because of RMAH (1 $ For 1 Mill Gold)

-) Cant use Gold for good Items or something other useful ingame. (All good itmes are on RMAH)

So what to bot for?:

-) Maybe change Profiles to maximum MF bonus to get rare 60+ items and do Inferno Item Farmin for selling items in RMAH ?

But thats a problem because most of the Botting users cant do Inferno Runs. (equip)

so you would have to spend lots of money in RMAH to buy good equip for inferno and TEHN farm Rare items for selling in RMAH

what to you guys think?

greets LJ

yes and that for .. most users dont have the equip to securely bot in that regions!

so i am asking for opinions in sense of botting

Free gold is the point of botting. Plenty of decent items on the gold AH last time I checked. There's not gonna be many people willing to pay real $ for virtual armor for their virtual hero.

you can gear for first half of act 1 for a few hundred grand and even if it falls to one dollar on RMAH, that's still 150 bucks a week for doing nothing....

and there's no reason to bot act 2, you could argue for act3+ but the next patch is gonna let act1 drop the same gear...you have to kill elite packs at four times the rate but I don't think that will be a problem...

Unless legendarys and sets get a huge buff, I'm pretty sure it will be best to stack GF and get 5 valor stacks instead of stacking MF....

and after the new patch people will level up their professions and they will turn into the gold sinks they are meant to be and the new repair costs will come into affect and the majority of players will be playing the nerfed inferno, I'm sure gold will keep value...

When paypal and blizzard are done with that dollar you can hardly pay the electricity pay with the rest. Selling for 1$ doesn#t mean you gain a full dollar....

Once you can sell gold in RMAH, the cheapest you can sell it for is $2.50/million, and people are for sure going to buy that.. (After the cuts, that's still like $1.80) It's not great, but free money is free money..

sure, you only get over $100 a week instead of over $150 if you maintain 300k/h at $1 a mil...still sounds good to me...

you will be able to sell Gold in RMAH? i dont think so! and yes its free so 1 $ each million gold is also money but its not very much.. wehen you look at the time you spend to get 1 mill (stucks, restarts, watching and so on).

Question: does that mean that MF bonus dont affect the count how often you find Rare good items (sellable in RMAH) ?

Question 2: someone said that you are able to buy Inferno Act 1 gear for a few Hundred Grand Gold? I dont think so which items you mean i think one decent item for inferno (exmaple weapon) costs a few Million gold.

What bonuses are best for inferno? Botting inferno will need both .. MUCH MUCH HP and also MUCH Damage i think

Blizzard will not allow gold to become useless because doing so will destroy the economy. There will always be uses for gold (crafting costs, repair cost being increased, gold AH will always be present etc.). Even Bashiok posted yesterday predicted the gold AH will always be relevant and have better longevity than the RMAH (everyone is flocking to the RMAH right now because of its 'new' factor).

You can.. The feature is already available. It's just not turned on yet.. Try it yourself..
You sell in increments of 100,000g, with a minimum price of .25c

yes gold will always be present! but its not really important anymore.. only for crafting repairing and so on.. you will never need THAT much gold you needed till now to buy 20+ Mill Items.

If it works like D2, the more MF you have also increases the chance that your rare drop will be a legendary or set. Most of which are vendor trash. (if I'm remembering correctly)

you only need a 550-750 one hander or a 1k 2 hander, should be able to pick up for a hundred grand if you troll the AH. I also got +gold find gear with decent stats, each one under 100k. I bought all my gear before i started botting so I was broke :P I spent like a mil but I'm sure you can get by with only a few hundred spent...first half of act 1 is very very very easy...

We just need a few weeks to get the 'new' out of RMAH. After that we can conclude wether or not gold is going to mantain it's value. If so a 2,5$(2$ orso after the bite blizz and paypal takes out of it) is still really reasonable for me to continue gold farming. If it's going to be absolutely worthless we can expect blizzard to come up with a feature wich will make people interested in gold again. That all because blizz is horny for dollars.

Please don't start a business with that kind of thinking.

Paypal receiving transaction fee:
$0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD 3.9% + $0.30 USD <-- yes 1$ for the 1 million falls into that category.
15% by blizzard upfront.

So 1$ - 15%
=> 0,85
-3.9% 0,81685$
-0.3
0,51$ is what you will receive.

Now deduct 4 hours of electricity of that and the time you need to handle the gold transfer to your buyer.

Also, don't forget that botting accounts DO get banned.

Unless you use buddy bots.

You get banned anyway even if its not detection, blizzard have their ways. I've probably had over 100+ wow accounts banned (lost count really), mostly chain linked and all shot down on the spot.
