This bot is inferior to the competition in every possible way

That happens because you get down to one add and the bot wants to save time by moving to the next hotspot, the same hotspot over and over again. Devs have said they've been working on targeting, I'm sure there will be a fix soon. However even in inferno he should be dead in seconds, if it slows you down noticeably, you need to change your abilities...

And from a non-gold-seller perspective. You run your 1000 bots and spend your days selling gold, purchasing new accounts, arguing over disputes on Paypal and making a little bit of cash, taking breaks to bitch about DB.

I run my one and only bot and make gold while I'm AFK. I come back and buy some uber gear and play for fun in Inferno. I keep my account and enjoy it for as long as I enjoy D3.

A little money lol. At the peak gold was what 25$ per mil ? It was 10-15 for over a week. 9 accounts at 20 mil per day do the math a little bit of cash lol. Just do this 180 mil gold farmed a day and lets pretend he sold it for 15$ a mil on average That's 2700$ a day for 2weeks straight maybe more.

No, honestly, good for him, you spend some time working you make some money, it's how the money game works. I cbf doing all that has to be done, so I won't make that money. But I will AFK and make some gold to buy some gear. So I'm happy.

Blah Blah errors are do to starting the all-in-one combat that comes with DB while in the menu. Stop and start once you are in the game and it runs fine. Also that profile is aweful and if you aren't a barb, dh or monk you should set up general settings. If you are one of those there is a forum post with updated combat routines.

Over those 9 days I am still botting strong at 230 (though going based of of past HB experience I know to expect more from the team). Over a total of 14 days now you made 2,280 dollars and lost 540 and ALOT of man hours leveling. So a net gain of 1,740 and whatever you are paying for your energy drinks. My bots made 3,477.60 over that same timeframe. No loss of accounts due to a magnificent track record the buddy team has regarding warden detection. No headches over buying and leveling. While you are stuck at your PC constantly leveling those monks I am out spending the money from my bots.

Believe me, I am tempted to run the other bot. However, I am patient enough to know better. Just a thought for you. See you on their forums next week when you are demanding your money back because you got banned.

Now send the banwave another week back ;) What you didn#t take into consideration is the millions acceptable goldfind gear costs. When you awnt 20% per piece and 7 yards and a bit of primary stat you are easily going for 500k-1mil per piece. Let's just assume 5 mil per bot, a lot of gold lost

Past results can, however, be used to gain a good insight into future events.

The buddycrew is ace at remaining undetected by Blizard. The Competition has already had a banwave and they aren't doing anything about it. My predictions say: DB is and will remain undetected, the competition is and will remain bannable.
 
Honestly, I kinda agree with the OP.

I only have 2 bots, but I have one DB and one of the competitions bots.

The competitions bot; navigation, usability and customization are all exceptionally better than DB. I have never been banned using either bot, so it is hard for me to say which one has the better Protection at this point. I really hope that DB gets better - I bought it for the reason that it apparantly has better protection, but seriously, if my DB bot gets banned before my other bot, I want a refund lol.

Could you elaborate on that? I decided for DB, since I could gather the information, that it has a good reputation ( which I couldn't really check, but there was so much of confidence around it that it felt safe to go with the flow on that one) for staying safe, but how does that work out?

Honorbuddy is a wowbot, did it ever receive a banwave as an example. Or is it running years without it. And even then how many of those working on honorbuddy, are working on db?

I am not doubting the information or anything, just a bunch of information for someone that hasn't been in the scene. I searched for that info myself yesterday, but I kinda dislike the forum layout too much :)

You RISK getting banned, difference is with other bots you DO get banned, with buddy bots you DON'T get banned.
 
i have both bots. other bot is undoubtedly better in most aspects. but i'm using DB because it seems safer for me.

I believe HonorBuddy was hit by a banwave several years ago. The claims of DemonBuddy being safe is based on the years of experience the Buddy team has from dealing with Warden in WoW.

However, banwaves and detection of the bot are not the only ways to get banned for botting. If your botting patterns are suspicious, you might still get flagged and banned. No bot is 100% safe. In fact, you should always accept the fact that you are going to get banned before you start botting.

For example, when I botted in WoW with HonorBuddy, three of my accounts were banned within two months. There was no banwave on HonorBuddy and it was not detected, either. But that doesn't stop Blizzard from being able to catch you.

It is safe to say that DemonBuddy is safer than its competitors. It has less injections and does not use hacks to boost efficiency. It is relatively new to the scene and thus, Blizzard has not had time to prepare for it. Most importantly, the team behind DemonBuddy is very experienced at dealing with Warden. HOWEVER, there is still the chance of getting banned for using this bot. If you bot excessive amounts of hours per day, you should expect it. Anyone who tells you that this bot is immune to bans is ignorant and is spreading misinformation.

Stop spreading misinformation. Many people have gotten banned for using HonorBuddy before. Bans do not only come from Warden detecting the bot. Also, as experienced as the Buddy team may be, it's virtually impossible to guarantee 100% safety from detection.

Sorry for my english, but I need to intervene in this thread.

First, this bot is new, it needs some improvement but I'm sure this will be ONE OF the best bot around in a few weeks.

PLEASE, don't talk about anti-warden, the most safe bot is the bot with the less injection in the game.

There is no anti-warden protection, don't dream. Just remember that : LESS INJECTION = LESS RISK.

Actually, Demonbuddy is fine, but it's not the only one.

Some bots are pure injection (with Hack, Maphack,..), I won't name theses bots, people are doing 500k GPH,but just want to say "good luck with next banwave ^^"

I understand the idea of those bans by metrics. Obviously there is not much that I can do about that other then tuning down the hours, chatting and doing something else once in a while. Currently I am mainly doing sarkoth, since that will fall first. I mix in NM core, Hell core sometimes even a bosskill, however I am pretty sure to lose that account.

Currently I am also thinking about protecting my first page of the stash and put it in disorder and keep some useless items there.and work with the two other pages.

Since I don't know how their metrics will autotrigger me. Once I upgrade to 4 accounts botting I will probably stop protecting myself against metrics since I feel it is unavoidable without giving up too much efficiency.

I am calculating my bot accounts to survive for 4 weeks before metrics get me. After 4 weeks I will strip them clean and let them idle another month before reusing them. Maybe that is too harsh but I don't want to invest over and over into goldgear, especially in a couple of weeks when gold has been inflated even more, while my pickup rate stays fixed.

Yep. Theoretically, a bot that uses your mouse and keyboard (Auto-It) would probably be the safest, especially if it had variance in the coordinates it used.
 
Yeah, going back to autoit or ahk, Able to customize for better run. I hate pixel detection but hey it work better than this, unless improvement is made on the combat command.

IB (paid) - 250K+
AI/AHK (free) - 200K+
DB (paid) - <100K
DA (free) - 400K+

that the rate i am looking at with the same gear
 
As long as cores are not nerfed you can autoit it, but if we need to do longer runs and stuff it simply won't be worth it anymore.

If you dislike pixelsearch go for imagesearch. All the vulcanos and treasures are in identical spots. You can pixelsearch a lot of stuff in there to guide your way through.
