here's a list of why (and hopefully the developers read this)

1. Ease of use - I run 9 windows of diablo 3 with 6 demon hunters and 3 barbarians. I have to open up 6 windows of diablo 3 and 6 windows of DB in order for the DH's to run in harmony. Then I have to open up 3 more diablo 3's and 3 more DB's for the barbs (cause they have different settings and its a pain in the ass to navigate which window to inject)
2. Personal Settings - I can't even set how I want my character to attack. All the DH's do is waste all their disciple on the companion instead of using it on smoke screen
3. Efficiency - This bot is totally inefficient. With the competition's bot in the same area (core of arreats NM), I'm able to hit 420k-470k GPH easily. With DB however, I'm only hitting 290-350k GPH. This bot also tends to get stuck for no particular reason. This bot is also late on arrival with auction house out and still poorly underdeveloped.
4. Early Bird Pricing - I paid only $30 for the competition's bot for as many accounts as I want to use on one computer. I paid almost $200 for this bot for 9 sessions.

So developers at DB, can you guys please up your game a little bit? The only thing your bot has over the competition is the short downtime after the patch. If it was not for the long ass downtime that the competition has, I would have never even signed up for DB after running a free trial.

And wow... 3 windows just froze and went down... now I gotta restart the whole fucking process of #1... horrible

edit: I have to restart everything cause I can't tell which bot is connected to which window.

Mine has been running fine at the moment, and the only complaints I did have, have been addressed in the 2-3 updates in less than 24 hours.

I love the buddy team.
 
And the other bot was fully optimized and up to your standards 1 day after it was released?

Lets see it like this: The game has been out since May 15. It is June 13. Now, what are you trying to say? There are no excuses. Both developers had the same amount of time to develop their shit.
 
The personal settings problem is you not knowing how to configure the bot. It's pretty easy, use your brain.

The early bird pricing is right, IMO. $30 for an infinite use license is win. The other cheaper bots also just got wiped pretty hard by a banwave, even though they preached warden protection.

Exactly my point. The game hasn't been out for a month, and you're complaining that the only bot that mostly focused on warden protection doesn't have every feature other bots did that didn't care about warden protection.

Just go use the other bots if you're so sure they're better. I'm sure we'll be seeing you complain on their forums about being banned, though.

Well how do you configure this bot then? I've been asking around and no solid answers.
 
I've spent over 100 euros on sessions with the discount due to my faith in the buddy team from the start, won't buy anymore till everything is sorted but honestly if they were a no name company and didn't create honorbuddy I wouldn't even touch this, it feels like an alpha bot, I am stressed out to my skull trying to maintain 7 accounts at the same time with path finding problems, stuck issues, no relogger, terrible combat, bugged looting and to top it off the odd crash which I then have to start all over again, if I had a gun of any kind in my house I would probably kill everyone and then myself (not srs) but really, It's incredibly stressful botting with demonbuddy. I've been here since the original gatherbuddy when they had the old forums after bossland first started out when he came from the great glider forums, I still have faith in the team but please I want to die right now coming from other bots I used, which were way simpler and literally levels above this bot, I've been up all night and day trying to create extra way points in profiles, tinker with settings.. nothing works, the client is too buggy.

I don't know who did the beta testing but If it wasn't for the fact that the support section was spammed with all my problems I would post 40 problems of my own I'm having, I've done about 40 facepalms today in real life and wonder if its just me having bad luck when all I do is go away from my computer for literally 5 minutes and at least one of my accounts has stopped working.

I love you guys but come on let's sort this! :(

yay, a guy who shares my pain. Now how do you make your own scripts for this bot? I want to increase efficiency already.

I'm not making excuses, just letting you know that it's going to take a little time for them to optimize it. They chose not to offer a public beta, so they are seeing an influx of issues after the public release.

I am also very unhappy.

I havent been able to bot more than 1 hour most of the time without it getting stuck, 2 hours if I am very lucky. I need to babysit this bot all the time, if I don't I am wasting my electric bill. Especially when I go out for a few hours, I come back only to come back to a stuck bot who got stuck half an hour after me leaving...

Some halfassed bot from the competitors dont get stuck, I left it on for nights with no problem... Why is DB getting stuck all the time, it's unbelievable. DB is late, doesnt work as advertised, have to babysit, and had to pay. Only thing DB has got going right now is that its safe, how safe? Time will tell.

I am dissapointed, I heard good stories about you guys. And I pretty much don't care if it is the greatest goldbot in about 4-8 weeks, by then gold is worthless.
 
j0achim has updating CC for barbs and is working on DH now that works pretty well.

on my barb 200% gf, 28 range, no increase movement speed and the stickied arreat profile. Not bad for doing NO WORK other than looking at what it out there offered to me freely (minus some donations). Now if I wanted to do WORK MYSELF I could probably push this much higher than waiting for others.

THAT is how you configure the bot, dumbass. Asking how to write a script is totally different than asking how to configure the bot.

If you want to learn how to write the scripts, open up the ones floating around and look at them.. So, you know.. Use your brain and read(the XML documents).

http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...-guide-unofficial-documentation-profiles.html seems to be a very good overview of layout and what you can do.

edit: if you are farming arreat I'd just download the one that is stickied and try to alt it to make it more efficient, alter go to locations, you could make them every couple of feet if you really wanted to but i suspect part of the problem with random back tracking is that you progressed passed the last target while killing stuff or looting chests so it runs back to the initial target location before proceeding to the next. Don't quote me on this but that's how it sorta looks to me.

This will not alter your combat routine but your progress through the area. if you want a better CC I'd suggest going to . http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...mmon-prince-greed-all-one-combat-routine.html And using that CC for your barb and your DH since they seem to be working and check for updates or go into the profile an alter how they respond. He also takes requests if you tell him about the spell (range/melee) how the attack words (aoe, single target, frontal cone) and how you think it should work based on in combat, out of combat, number of mobs near by.
