Edit your ingame video settings

I have the same issue. Can't explain it, I also did what that thread suggested and unlimited the framerate, which was a great help against stuttering down to 2 fps as you can imagine.

Matter of fact nothing changed and I watch those stutters and wonder.

Is it only when there are TONS of enemies on the screen?

No sometimes it is just 1 mob, but when a lot of mobs are exploding at once it happens more often, but also not always.

Just checked, killed 20 scorpions on screen, everything fine. Everything is fine, then a single hulking phase beast and a trap exploding 1 fps, flips back to max, just lost 2 seconds nothing more.

Had phasebeasts and traps in the same run just a couple meters before, no fps issue there.

Hmm.
I don't know what their link with Diablo3 is like so I can't really speculate on it.

I do believe we've done all we can on our end PapaBash :(

change your max backgroud FPS in video settings, should do the trick.

Already did that, limited to 10, 20, 40, 60, unlimited. It doesn't change anything. It is stuttering when I have it actively open. It was never stuttering on max high details when playing manually.

I had the same problem but I made Diablo 3 window a lot smaller and now it's lagging just a bit but it doesn't effect the bot. Anyway it's strange becouse when I'm no botting I don't experience any lag on high expect when starting the game. Well, the bot has been running perfect for couple of hours for me so try to make your Diablo 3 window smaller

Have you tried a different direct x version (in game) as mine defaults to 11 but my card only supports 10. May make a difference (did on wow not tried it on d3)

I'm having the same problem, and it's only when i'm using DB :/

Hi.
Necro-ing this thread as the problem is still present and I can't seem to find a solution.

I have already tried the following:

- different values for max foreground and background (in steps of 10, as in 10, 20, 40, 50 etc)
- unticking max foreground/background
- disabling sound/music
- lowest settings ever in d3prefs.txt - can't even understand what's going on on the screen most of the time
- different window sizes from the smallest to the largest

This is happening just about all the time, regardless of what it's doing (1 mob or 30 mobs, same thing, lots of stutterring - this is even happening while my barb is running with no mobs on the screen!)

This is not a problem with my hardware either - core i7/24 gigs of ram/gtx 680.

I bought the 1 session thing, but was considering buying the 3 sessions option. With 1 bot, the stuttering is somewhat "acceptable". I took a "trial" for my second account and now both windows are stuttering big time, regardless of resolution/details/shadows/sound.

Just to be clear, I can play on max details in 2 sessions (windows or full screen) with no stuttering. IT IS demonbuddy that's causing this, I just don't know what a possible fix would be.

Has anyone found a solution or should I just give up on running more sessions?

Thanks.

actually, 304-306 was stuttering for me too, and I also ran only 1 session windowed only and im also able to play with full throttle in full screen. using win7 x64 ultimate, localised version, c2d@4Ghz, Nvidia GTX 560Ti, 4Gigs. so yea i must second the oppinion, that its DB (running questtools and trinity only)
