Problem with Honorbuddy not working

Just realised, the only difference between me and my friends computer is that he has a 4xxx series radeon, whereas mine has a 5xxx series. Could the difference in drivers be a problem? I've been experiencing issues with my video card, could this cause it?

The five series means that DirectX 11 is running, so it's a possiblity that the devs simply havn't had a DX11 card to test with up to this point.

We are both running Windows 7 x64, DxDiag says we are both running DX11. The 4850 only runs DirectX 10.1, but I wouldn't think this would be a major problem. Would anyone know?

I just formatted my harddrive. I installed Windows 7, updated DirectX, updated my drivers, installed HB, installed WoW, and ran it all properly. Double checked everything. Same problem as before - Endscene error.

attached is a complete survey of my system. There is no way this is a software problem, and Windows 7 comes with preinstalled Net Framework 3.5 SP1.

Hardware issue, incompatibility?
Please address this.

Unfortunately there isn't anything here we can address... its an issue with the directx interaction. May be video drivers, may be hardware, but its an isolated issue so its not likely that HB is the cause. We're certainly trying to figure out what the cause is, but it seems like you've ruled out everything except for a hardware/driver issue. Do you have another video card you can test?

A bunch of us are using DX11 cards (myself included).

I do have other video cards, but I don't like to switch out my main systems GPU, too much driver fuss.

I'm a computer techy though so I might just resort to putting together another computer to run the bot.

Just put together a new computer. AMD processor, NVidia DX9 video card, W764bit, and still didn't work.

No idea wtf to do now..

Well start here, delete your HB install completely, copy over your buddys HB to your machine and try running it there...

Didn't change anything, went to my hunter and BGed, logged out, back in and tried HB again, IT WORKS. Didn't even change a thing, just decided to work.
What. The. Fuck.

Anyway, thanks for help!

So a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit, fully updated with windows update, installed net framework 3.5sp1..... Would install net framework 2.0 be a hassle? I had an issue on an XP install of a bot where 3.5 wouldnt work until it also had 2.0 installed. If not, are there any errors in your event log that may be affecting HB?

It's no longer a problem, it just started working out of the blue. I swear for 3 hours I changed nothing, was just BGing. Came back to HB, and it's working suddenly.
