Windows 8 support

Ok, before people go crazy, I'm not expecting support, and I'm also not complaining that DB isn't working for me. I am 100% aware it's only been out for 24 hours, and I'm simply creating this thread because I'm curious to see if I can expect any help towards an issue that multiple people are having. Here's my full log:

I KNOW people have already posted this, I'm putting it up here so that maybe we can have windows 8 help from other people who may also have windows 8. Thank you.
 
Lol, sorry about that guys. I got caught up in the moment. I open d3 and leave at main menu, tab out and start DB, when I go to click D3 to open again everything crashes.. the log is in OP.

ya im useing new ver of HB today with windows 8 and i load wow i log in my toon then i fire up hb click login and bang wow closes i even went into properties fro hb set to administrator priv and even set compatibly mode to window 7..which is cool that win 8 has that but still wow crashes...anyone know if hb with support windows 8 soon???
 
Last i heard, every reported case of crashing on Flashing window that has been investigated so far have been because .net or c++ install was bad. Are you sure you installed .net4 full and not .net4 client i made that mistake >_>

i guess it could be windows 8 though...

ya i try to upgrade the .net but says it has it build in or newest one

Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4 has already been installed on this computer.


anyone have any other trick i might beable to get HB to work with win8 i really like it
 
i will guess you have to wait till arelog supports daemonbuddy and you have to hope the same trick will work with damonbuddy ;-)
 
well, see the issue is, windows 8 has a newer version of .net. so removing so may screw things up. I'm not impatient, so waiting until more important issues are resolved first is not an issue. Plus by the time I'm able to log in, more and better profiles will be available. keep working guys, I hope to hear from someone soon. And I also agree that I shouldn't expect support on an OS that's not even released yet. Thanks guys.
