Paying for a BETA - My DemonBuddy analysis

It's a beta =/ betas are not release material. It's a test to help improve the bot. So relax. Learn2beta noobs

It feels like this has been in development for 2 days, not 6 weeks (actually more since your first vid is that old)
Its totaly normal on software development. You need a long time to make a base frame for your app
and after you have the basic you begin to ad the functional stuff.

of course you can develop a both with autoit very fust but it's become more difficult if it gets bigger and you want to add more functions.
When you make a solid base you have your functions for attacking, for casting and so on. You need plenty of time developing thes functions.

If you recall, I made several posts that I wasn't happy with the bot and I postponed the release twice. Over 1000 people posted demanding that we release anyway because right now it works and everyone knows that it will carry on being developed.

this ;-)

I have full confidence in the Demonbuddy team.
Just as Hawker wrote, it has been emence pressure on the Demonbuddy team to get the bot released, it was only whining about it getting postponed on the forums and now it is released.
It is not bug free, it is not up to par with Immortal bot on the GPH, but it will get there.
I really look forward to using this bot on my accounts, just like I did in wow.

We will get levelling working smoothly. We will have profiles for nice gold farms as they are discovered. We will be doing this for years just like with HB. For now, the bot is functional and its dirt cheap. If you want to wait for it to be completely done and pay more, that is OK as well. And if its any consolation, I appreciate the bug reports.

I know that Hawker, and know I understand your position about it.

I am a very fair person, at least I think I am, and the bot that I paid for it is not the same that I have access to.

I don't mind waiting for a decent build, and I don't mind helping on it either, I just think that as the time passes by the quality of HB Team is decreasing, I don't know if it is motivation or not, there were some standards that HB Team reached in the past, and you know that when something reaches its highest people expect to mantain or even get better, and the truth is that neither of those happened. In my fairiest opinion I think you are getting advantage of the reputation you gained by releasing awesome products but now the products aren't that awesome.

Everytime someone has an issue Mods/Devs just have an elitist arrogance and say "It is working fine to me", I even made videos about the bot performing badly and had nothing to do with setup (ignoring mobs because of looting) and Tony just kept saying I had to configure it well, the best quality that BuddyTeam had was the connection to the community and it just seems they don't care about community anymore.

I can't understand how you release a bot that hasn't been tested enough.
First everyone complains that the bot isn't released fast enough saying "We don't mind some bugs, just giefv and we'll debug", now you're saying "You shouldn't have released it in this state".
There's always one.....

I know the team is better than this, that's why I'm disappointed. Some guy on a basement made a bot 10x better than this on week one, and the people that actually stood up to blizzard with the best bot even known for WoW released a shitty bot after 4 weeks? Really?

I'd like to think that in the long run DB will be the best bot, but I wasn't expecting DB to be lightyears behind the competition after so much developing time either, so I don't know what to think anymore.

Just to make myself clear, this is the bot that I use, this is the Bot Team that gives me guarentees that something good is going to come out, all the criticism that I do is to be considered as constructive.

So please don't say things like "The bot will be better", "The bot is going to be the best", "There won't be better bot than this" or "If you dont like this go buy another".

The Honorbuddy is the best WoW bot there is, that doesn't mean it doesnt need to improve, yet when someone says that something needs to be improved, there's always those people saying "This is already the best bot so stop crying about it"

There are complex bugs and easy bugs, same with exploits, there were exploits that were spotted by gamers on the first 2/3 days, and others who were more complex that took 2/3 weeks.
-The Goblins/Treasure Chests - Those were easy because people were seeing them on the same spot over and over again

-The Zulten Kolle Quest - That was hard because no one would ever thought that on the first 3/4 days.

The thing is that the only bugs that were spotted today were bugs that would have been easily spotted if there was a decent testing.

If you give it some time you'll see that things will shape up.

You also have to give it time for people who contribute but are not on the team to get up to speed and see what they can do to help out, CC enhancements for example or plugins.

Personally, I'm glad to have access and be able to start tweaks and improvements to things.

On a side note the entire gammer culture is turning into a bunch of babies that really have no idea what they are talking about. No matter what the developers do SOMEONE is going to rant and complain about whatever product. This may drive products to get better, but in some cases it just goes to show that we live in the "Instant gratification era" you want it now, you want it perfect, you want it your way...

You can have a good job but it won't be fast
You can have a fast job but it won't be good

Everyone is yelling at me for caving in and agreeing to sell early. If I accept what you say and stop selling, do you think people will be happy?

BTW, your inventory bug is fixed and will be in next update, probably in 2 hours.

Skimming through the thread you have some valid points, but I don't think their mindset is any different regardless of how the quality of the current product is. I remember when Honorbuddy would only have some parts barely work every other release and they were at least working on it. It sure wasn't very spectacular when it was first released. If don't like the bot then that's fine, but you could have bought the ?1 one just to try it out as you clearly had the money to instantly jump to a full-blown version.

At no part did they say it was fully working, I also believe it was quite the opposite and maybe they could have stressed this a little more on their sell page. Maybe the quality was also degraded by releasing it now, but that's not something I really don't care about seeing as I have a bot, instead of nothing. They run the best WoW bot hands down, and expecting them to have the utmost picturesque quality on every single product is empty optimism, especially on ones released just now.

I also don't agree with some of the things the mods/devs do or say. I was banned from the forums once for complaining about a default CC's quality. Complaining does nothing, you won't get anything but rebutted answers that actually make sense if you take the time to figure out what they're saying. They are human. What if they don't care? What will you do? They have your money, and could simply delete your threads or ban you if they must.. It's their product. You can't fight that.
