Diablo III June, 8th Hotfixes

June 8
General

  • In cooperative games, monster damage will no longer increase when additional players join the game. Please note that monster health will still scale based on the number of players in a party
Bug Fixes

  • Tyrael no longer has collision when he is your active follower
  • Pots of ashes in Act I and vases in Act IV will now drop less gold when destroyed
  • Fixed a bug where players could turn in the same quest repeatedly and always receive rewards as though they were completing the quest for the first time

I am just about done with this game.
They have nerfed everything and more to come.
I am pretty sure they are wanting nothing more than a cash AH and this is their way to get it.

does this mean no more zk runs. Level or quit I guess, we got your money get the F out.

Tyrial is now a joke doing 1200 on hit in act3 inferno.
WOW this is beyond a joke, probably a way to say drop all followers and just play.
OH WAIT TILL THE CASH AH buzzard will be posting items for sell on it. NEW CASH COW

They will continue to do this until they come out with an expansion and say OH that was the old game this expansion will be GREAT.
BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!

overall its just more buzzard BS

u mad sparks? the game is there to be played and not to turn in a quest 11 times by slaying a boss once and not to let a npc do all the work for you. also you should kill monsters to get gold and items instead of bashing vases. btw they buff the dropp rate of higher tier items and adjust the difficulty level for meeles in inferno. thats not in favor of the RMAH isnt it?

if you want a game where you do nothing than bashing vases and letting a npc do you shit you should play a game for 3yo kids.

ah and btw the RMAH is in favor of the community. noone has to use it and it provides us a game where you only have to pay once and get big updates for free.

hmmm just to point out, once you hit lvl 60 it is hard to buy gear on the AH. its ether farm farm farm farm farm for gold or buy a bot to compete with it. What sparks says is true.
and Vinc009 how would you farm gold now to buy gear?

I agree alot of people are declining this game. Faster then a virgin loses her virginity on grad night.

I will miss ZK runs..... I was PLing 3 people at a time, and just asking for quest reward in return. Such an easy way to make gold..... Guess its back to farming lol.

What ? They removed the most "funny" part in d2-d3 multiplayer games?

People complain when gold loses it's value cause of massive easy-to-reach farming spots giving almost a million/hour.
People complain when said farming spots are nerfed and gold starts to slowly gain value again.

I'm positive there will be new farming spots that give close to the same in gold and/or xp.

I enjoyed the game, but its harder for me to see the replay value in it. After you beat it, all you are really doing is grinding. And I don't know why mobs are always dropping gear half their level.

These gold farming spots have been nerfed so by the 12th blizz can start selling there gold for money. Ether way blizz is winning

If they nerf the amount of gold that can be farmed, it doesn't really affect things much in the long term as the economy will balance out. Right now it's going to be expensive to purchase top level 60 gear as people are still spending a lot of time leveling to 60 or playing alts, and the supply of items is still low. Prices will also be high for a while due to the ease of farming gold initially, but over time prices will stabilize and high level gear will become much more plentiful

Any farming nerfs give gold a higher value and keep player gold in line with in-game repair costs and whatnot.

There may be a few farming nerfs targeting specific areas that could be annoying for botters, but with a bot like Demonbuddy with its abilities it should be easy for us to move to the most efficient farming areas.

Are you serious? Blizzard doesn't sell gold in the RMAH. Players sell it to each other and Blizzard takes a cut of each transaction. Their interest is in making sure that farmers aren't able to farm a disproportionate amount of gold compared to what regular people playing the game are getting, and ensuring that gold doesn't become so inflated that they have to rebalance loot/gold drops in every act/difficulty.

Oops thought they were going to sell some... Nvm then I was wrong didn't do enough reading.

Like mentioned already, things will balance out. If gold gets harder to obtain, the price will rise. The only thing I'm worried about is where I will farm.

These fixes hurt legit players more than botters, the more they hurt legit players the more botters benefit. The thing is, when there is a global gold nerf, all botters are affected so the only thing that changes is the scale of gold collected. The price will fluctuate based on that scale so if you're selling gold the prices should rise.

Hurting legit players gold grind increases the value of gold.

The only thing I worry about is how many legit players remain, I can't fathom how anyone can play this game legit. The prices on the AH and the rare chance of drops + low gold grind is horrible.

As far as i'm concerned, I beat the game the first time I killed Diablo back on normal mode. No need for me to actually play anymore, in fact I sold all my BiS DH gear on the AH and sold the gold for money. :)

100% agreed. In Blizz's attempts to "hurt" the botting and gold selling community the regular non-botting player is going to get played just like the general public gets played by market managers in the stock market. The amount of supply was actually more then demand before because of the huge amounts being farmed. Now all those who botted and the gold sellers will have hundreds of millions of gold and the avg joe will either have to play all the time for scraps or buy gold.
