Not moving from an area>?

How would i go about making it where my bot does not move from a certain area? I have tried blacklisting but all he does is go around the spot. He keeps going into an area that gets him killed because of the mass of mob in the area i am tring to avoid.

Did you set a maxrange to the blackspot?

If hb2 i believe there is an issue with blackspots on beta 10

Do you have a refer for maxrange. I dont think i have seen this one
