I can't get this to work.. I installed NMA, made a NMA user, got an API key, set the API key in BuddyCenter.. Is there more I should do? Regards

There might be something wrong with the site/server. It stopped working for me 1 or 2 days ago with pushing messages to Notify My Android. Does it work for anyone else?

simple answer is,

1 buy prowl for phone. or obtain through alternative means, a prowl-compatible application.

2 set up the prowl account, so your phone is sync'd up with their service.

3 go to the prowl website on phone or on PC. Prowl - iOS Push Notifications

4 setup a new API key from https://www.prowlapp.com/api_settings.php

look for the section called "Generate a new API key"

in the note: Add BuddyCenter (WoW) so you can see what it is later on.

you should get a new API code, like ... a884f17419f712f2253eb0f7b124e4718de710d5
(don't use this, i've edited this one)

5. paste in the API key in the plugin config.

6. start the bot.

7. every 10-30 minutes, you should get a prowl notification that shows your character's location.


If you have Notifo or the windows phone 8 app, the install procedure should be very similar to this. one day they may add NotifyMyAndroid, the API calls are nearly 99% similar, so a software patch could add it in.

as Notifo retired last year and won't be updating anymore, NMA may be the preferable option. and there's some newer multi-console apps like boxcar, etc.

would love that! I still use this plug just would be great to have a web page to start/stop the bot and answer chat and check progress.
