Surely if I use any profile with HB 2.0 the bot will plan a route and set off in the general direction of said profile?
Use something like this its all it needs
<HBProfile>

Previously I could load an empty mesh file (or load a profile then delete the mesh associated with it and start HB), I could control HB with my keyboard and go where I wanted but use the logic of HB to do the killing for me, made hunt and kill quests easy. How do we do this now. Maybe just a tickbox to ignore the mesh but everything else works ?
I disagree -
You need more control to not look like a total nubcake. LUAninja achieved this by basically being a macro, so unless you were hitting a key, it wouldn't be doing anything at all. You need this level of control with any killbot.
Unless you're in a fight where you have no responsibilities but to sit on the boss then it won't work. There are fights where you need to target an add and CC it. If I simply target it, as you suggest, it doesn't know to do anything but try to kill it. You can't expect the bot to know this, so the only option is to temporarily disable it. There are also fight phases where you maintain a target, but not DPS for various reasons. Again, you can't expect the bot to just know this.
Simplest option is to have a killswitch/pause. Just stopping the bot, as you can now, will not work. The bot takes too long to restart and often will crash. If I could hit a key on my keyboard and it was an instant "pause" and hit again for an instant "resume". That would be a good step in the right direction. One of the current issues seems to be with movement (see the raid healing got wood CC thread or the bost request for a movement enable/disable above this one). You need to be able to move without the bot stopping your manual movements so that it can cast a spell. Some of us already use the bot to raid heal and those phases where we need more manual control can be a huge problem at the moment. I think it might only need minor adjustments to the bot, then the CC creators can work their magic.

Thats profile works fine, only flaw is it often runs very close before attacking, would be nice to keep to 30 yds range for us squishescurrently runs to 24 yds for some reason.
Set your pull distance on Bot Settings -> Level bot menu to 30.
