Snaking movements

Hey Botters,

First off let me just say nice work with TL, seems to work well for the most part. My only real issue is the snaking movements the bot makes when it moves. I understand this is great when under fire, but it tends to piss people off at the start of the game as I'm always crashing into them or getting in front of them and not letting them past. On top of all that, it just looks plain weird:eek:. Is there any way this can be turned off?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean it's zig-zagging by snake movement? :P

Yeah, thats a much better way of putting it sorry.

It doesn't seem to do it with my M6 heavy, but it's pretty constant with my Hetzer and my 35t. As you can imagine a "Zig-zagging" Hetzer doesn't look to good lol. Is there a simple fix to this?

Still, I'm very impressed with this bot, especially the targeting and firing and it's been very stable so far.

Unfortunately, that's an ancient bug. We've addressed it for the most part (heavy, slow tanks don't do it anymore), but fast tanks are still too quick to navigate the waypoints, and therefore still zig-zag sometimes. Still, a Hetzer shouldn't be doing it. :P

I'll see what I can do though, thanks for reporting it to us, and I'm glad you like the bot! :)

Thanks for your reply. I might leave the old Hetz in the garage for a while then.

Keep up the good work!
