easier to gather saronite and sell it and just buy titanium. just like its easier to sell the saronite or titanium and buy the powder for the jc tokens or buy the epic gems instead of hoping you get the powder or gems.

Mathematically speaking it ups your odds so unless there is a titanium node that is being skipped over to go for saronite theres no reason not to harvest it.
