Description:​

This Plugin is a copy and paste of Auto Equip 2 but with ONE distinct feature difference. It will try to Need on Everything, then do gear comparisons for Needing, then try to disenchant if available and lastly greed. This should make it so you never miss a loot again. ​

- Need if Available
- Need for Gear Comparison
- Disenchant if Available.
- Green on items.

Installation:​

1. Create a folder in your Plugin Directory.
2. Name the folder anything you like.
3. Copy and paste all files into that folder.

I can see that happening, yes. But, if I understand his post correctly, you can have it 'Need' based on gear comparisons, and not just need on everything in existence that has the 'Need' option? I could be wrong, sure, but that's just how I was reading it.

Honestly, I think he made this more for LFR/Raids, more than dungeons. People always roll 'Need' in LFR/Raids, unless otherwise told to do so. Perhaps?

This would come in handy for me and my girlfriends enchanting-mats runs ^^ What we do is run random heroics, need on everything just so she can get her heavenly shards & maelstrom crystals.

I've been kicked from groups for doing that.

Haha no we just excuse ourselves with "need for transmog/rp" and play really good (since we overgear it and mostly carry our groups) so far no complains

I use this for LFR =). AutoEquip does a bad job at rolling on teir and stuff. So I need it all =).

Needing in LFR is ridiculous now, people needing stuff they are already wearing just for the 20 or 30g they can vendor it for, Blizz does nothing to fix this.(Should be if you have won it once then no more rolls, like 30g is going to make a difference to anyone) I used to pass on everything that wasn't for my class, now I need everything like every other dumbass, this plugin will suit the mentality of the realm I play on just fine.

People also need for things for their friends that are also in the raid, and for off-spec. Idk how they could fix so the most suitable person gets the loot every time. Gotta be haard to be Blizz on this lol.

According to Blizz it's fixed in Mists. I'm sure they don't care at all about how bad it is right now. I can't stand the fact that 10 people from a guild can go together, roll Need on everything, and pass it to their other guildies. I'm crossing my fingers it's actually fixed in MoP. Until then, this plug-in will have to do...

I'm glad they're fixing it in MoP (if it really has been fixed). I hate people that roll 'Need' on everything just because they can. I've lost out on so much gear for all my toons. Me and the Blizzard RNG do not get along at all. I've played all gear types (cloth, leather, mail, and plate) and I'm almost always out-rolled by some jackass that can't use it, or won't use it, but instead will sell or DE it. If I really don't need an item, I'll either roll DE or pass. I try to watch all rolls and roll with the majority. But, now, however since everyone rolls 'Need' I just join the bandwagon.

Surely a hotfix would be nice in the meantime, oh hang on Blizz like pissing off their paying customers.

I really find it funny to see people that actually cheat (use a bot in a game they are not supposed to do that) care about rolls in loot and things that are not "fair" and they wish blizzard can fix it and (even funnier) are happy that blizzard will fix it! Man...

just disable the need/greed in autoequip and do it yourself.

Only in raids from your realm, tho. Random dungeon groups don't care and can't ignore you or even kick you with HoT being shorter than 15 minutes you will have practically full kick protection for the entire run. I do this on my Lock who is enchanter and get tons of mats.
