do i have to pay for gatherbuddy or is it free? Becuse mine keeps sayin charactor not attached and account not attached. then it says to reinstall GB. So whats goin on?

if you have an Hb key you are ok

Are you trying to run GB on its own somehow without starting HB first? GB is a selection from within HB.
