I'm in a pretty well good guild doing good on 25 mans and such.
But what I'm walking up against is this, that my guild leader is always bragging about how many flasks he makes and how many saronite he has.

But when I hear that and he tells about his guild banks full and such or what he bought it of private farmers sounds just dodgy to me.

I think he might be using GB/HB but how can I be for sure? cause I really wonder if he does cause it might just be my ticket to new ideas.

any ideas?

and why you wanna know if he is GB/HB user?

just want to know as it makes impact upon the realm and my marketing , As I where saying it brings me up to new ideas.

So I can rebuild my stratgic plans on getting more wealth.

well when someone brags about things it just brings attention to them. And with him being a GM... that puts the guild itself in a dangerous situation. If he gets banned.. its a pain to get the guild released. I would tread lightly on it.

If you think he is having an impact on your income then just switch servers. I mean i doubt just 1 person will have such an impact on your work so it shouldn't bother you much.

GIVE ME ALL THE PURPALZ NAO OR I IS REPORTING YOU NAO!!!!! is what you tell him. ; )

It's always seemed to me that if you give a little information to someone about yourself, then they are very likely to confide information in you in return.

So maybe whisper him or something... and slowly direct the conversation to how he has so many flasks.

COMPLIMENT/WORSHIP/PRAISE him for it. Act impressed. People are much more likely to say something they won't usually if they see that it makes you think higher of them.

Again, approach the topic slowly, but maybe explain how you used to bot all the mats for pots in TBC times and had tons of pots back then too (In other words, create a common bond with him). Maybe ask if he has ever botted in the past etc etc etc. I suggest you avoid asking him anything that if he responded would incriminate himself and his present account (because he will think you have bad intentions for asking all this and immediately shell up).

You want to build a bond of trust in him, giving him confidence that you are telling him all this secretive stuff... and hopefully in turn this trust will allow him to want to tell you anything in return.

Once he has admitted to botting (if he actually does) then you should immediately tell him you yourself bot (if you are fine with him knowing that). This should open up any type of info you want to get out of him.

---

You can get just about any information out of someone if you really try. It's mostly about earning the trust in them. Be persistent, but careful. Also, be PATIENT. Approaching what you want to know rashly won't work.

Good luck :D

Just ask it directly and look how he reacts, if you get a negative answer, just say it was a joke.

i wouldnt ask him...
maybe cause i dont care who is a bot and who not...
his job,my job

I wouldn't ask and I wouldn't put anything in the guild bank. Braggers are the fastest way to lose everything you work for. On a previous server there was a guild who were known for being a farming guild. I don't remember exactly how people found out but they quickly became the outcast on the server,no one would group with them. So if your gm is bragging someone is bound to figure out who is he dealing with and there goes the guild and possibly anything you have contributed to it. I'm not saying it will happen but that possibility always exists.

What new ideas are you thinking of doing lawl? Alot of people bot and he probably does bot. I've only botted for a day and I'm hooooooked on it. I've always played the AH but this just helps me climb to that gold cap. I'm coming 200k!

This is funny cause it won't have impact, sometimes he talks about someone owning the AH, but to cut things short is the AH on my realm is mine.

Thats why its fun having 7 accounts of 2 working on AH only wich I'm very good at^^.

I am sure that I agree with many others on here. The portions about your GM botting should only concern you if you are using your main character in that guild and not your bot chars/accts... Because if he does get banned, then the guild bank will most likely be locked down too. Otherwise, why is it such a big deal to you that he is doing something that you yourself are doing???

that is for me to know, lets leave it at that cause Ill drive his prices nuts and what not.

but it just seems so obvious when he even showed someone his guild bank and then he had full tabs of 1 type only.
He said to buy it from private farmers, but then he said about his saronite *I might even need to sell it all to the Vendor*, then why do you buy from a farmer in the first place right?

and Yes my main is in that guild but i dont worry about the guild bank being lost, thats not it cause I have more wealth or items then they got on that guild bank^^.

omg noes !!! he prolly does cause he surely sounds like enjoying its gold pieces:D
