[Request] Fully functional Paladin CC (Prot/Ret/Holy)

The title is worded wrongly, I suppose, but what I mean is that it would be nice to have some support for the paladin CCs that are out right now. I read a forum post that lists all the "good" CCs for each class, but the paladin class had nothing to offer since all CCs are out of date.

That's what I was referring to. Could someone either update the current CCs to work with HB and 4.3 or make one and support it? I'd do it myself, but I know absolutely nothing about C# or any other sort of coding.

If someone is currently using a CC and it shines nicely, please, advise me of what it is. Currently I'm alternating between Fpsware's Ret CC and Singular v2. For my PvP needs I'm using EzRet by Mastahg.

I know there are Paladin users in this forum, and I'm sure some of them are devs of plugins and CCs. I've just finished trying all the available paladin CCs for Retribution, and I have to say that they're all seemingly subpar to others playing by hand. I'm iLevel 360 right now, and the highest DPS I could get with any of these ret pally CCs is 7100 DPS. That was with FelMaster using Wulf's Ret Rotation from SimuCraft. Singular was only getting ~6400, Fpsware was getting ~6700.

I just finished a HoT instance with another ret pally that was geared at iLevel 355 and he/she was pulling almost 14k dps. I have a shiny new paladin that I can't do much with because I don't know how to play it, lol.

C'mon, someone please give the ret pallies some lovin'?

Im running mine as I type this using Doctrine and I was getting close to 20k overall for the run I just finished. It seemed to stop attacking sometimes and I would have to hit some buttons but overall wasn't bad. FelMaster wouldn't even start for me. I'm 387 ilvl with 12 pieces of Ruthless.

I agree, on the other hand if geared properly with IL380+ shouldn't ret pally's be doing 30k+ dps? I can pull off 21k in raids with felmaster but thats no where near what pally's are doing hand played and this bot can hit keys hella lot faster than any human. If i had the money i'd pay masta to make one i just can't at this time.

Well, I think part of my low DPS is that I need to replace my weapon. I've been using the Obsidium Executioner - Item - World of Warcraft since level 81 and haven't been able to score anything better. I've lost all rolls in dungeons, and I'm piss poor, so I can't afford to get anything off the AH on my realm. The good weapons are running 10k and up, everything else is not as good as what I'm using.

But, as for your CC, I thought Doctrine was a Holy Pally CC? I see lots of tank and healer CCs for the paladin, but not so many for ret paladins. For my PvP needs I use EzRet, which rips through the opposing faction pretty well. At level 84 I was at the top of the list with 34 KBs. I was dwarfing everyone else by at least 12 KBs. Now that I'm 85 I've got a full set of Vicious Pyrium gear, two rings, and a neck piece. All crafted. My resil is 2300, but sadly because it seems that ret is based on weapon that my dps is terrible.

I can use EzRet for PvE? I read your post and thought it was for PvE farming while in mixed mode. I was looking for something to use in dungeons and raids.

When you say "private" does that mean it's by donation only? Or, do you pick and choose the people you give it out to? If it's by donation only, then I'll have to use EzRet until I can get some money in my account after my disability check clears and I get the bills paid off. Money's tight right now, heh, but I'd love to try it out if I can.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. A pally with gear that was lower class than mine was doing almost more than double my DPS.

Over the next week or so I'll check out the Singular Ret CC. Currently have pretty terrible Ret gear, but it shouldn't be too difficult to see what's going on. Can't guarantee much for PvP... but it will raid fine

I'm not worried about PvP. I use Mastahg's CCs for PvP since they're fast, dangerous, and get the job done in a fun, messy way. I'm looking for something that can raid, dungeon, and do PvE type things. Singular's Ret right now seems very ... lacking. I believe it had the lowest DPS out of all the CCs I tried on the test dummy.

I can see what I can scrape together if you can send me details on where and what to donate. My paladin is going to be my new main since I've hit a brick wall with my warrior and dk, and my shaman is used for healing only.

BGbot IOC this weekend and get the Ruthless weapon. That's what I'm using. It's 7th on the list of BIS for LFR and below according to Mr.Robot.

The weapons require a total of over 7k honor to be gained before they can be bought. I just started running BGs a few days ago and don't have any items bought yet, lol. It'll take me more than one weekend to get it. Plus, BG Bot seems to be kinda sucky in IoC it seems, at least from what I've been reading. Also, I'm alliance and they rarely ever win anything except EotS, which is what I run since Alliance wins most of the time.

Ok, here's the updated Ret for Singular. Download it to your CustomClasses/Singular/ClassSpecific/Paladin folder. It needs to replace the old Retribution.cs file.

What it does do:
1) Follow EJ (Single Target & AoE)
2) Interrupts

What it does not do (yet):
1) PvP Logic
2) Self heal
3) Hands of Anything
4) Trinkets
5) Guardian of Ancient Kings
I'm waiting on feedback to see if any of these are worth implementing.

Post any bugs you notice. If you have a problem w/ the rotation, post a log & tell me why it's not correct (with references please). If there are "buffs" I'm missing, let me know. I don't play Ret often.
