[Release] TCDiscPriest (AA Build) - Instance/Raid Healer

nice work better then the other aa disc healing cc's
but is there chance you can add selective healing and ist it normal i can open the cc ?
 
dude just putin it out there this is the best priest healin cc yet and definatly a very high quality cc ever thought or branchin out into the shadow and holy tree's? The priest cc's are lacking horribly as for the AA spec its wicked my priest is horribly undergeard and its healing the new instances as if it was a pro +rep

Part of this is that AA is just retarded heals for a 5 man and contributes to the overall dps. Priests are by far the best 5 man healers atm... The AA CC's atm are not quite there for 10-25man raids yet.
 
if i am on a vehicle, disable casting spells

LogActivity(TANK_CHANGE, tank.Name);
and all other 'log activity' 's ... it's great for pve, bad for pvp (again, due to names)
^^ that needs to be commented out except for internal testing purposes - people do not want to submit a log w/ personal info in it)


inner will? I never use inner will unless i have to bubble 10 ppl at once

this CC was built with a Atonement/Archangel build in mind --

i have the boss targetted but it looks like i'm healing more than anything at all;

maybe this is for healing with wings on CD, but it's not for us who pure dps heal and then pure heal when shit goes down

Agreed that this needs some work.. but I just tested this ... and for a fight that needs no movement I got #1 in heals by like 5% in a 25man raid. We are in some bad need of a decent fully functional CC :-S

yeah i'm on yor'sahj in DS (LFR) and i just have it at the boss chillin here and seeing what it does

You can change the Inner Will to Inner Fire manually... that's a must IMO... let us know how your run turns out... because I think the rotation of this CC (at least for raids) is VERY promising.

it was ok, i did like 13k heals, but not the dps i wanted :(

@OP - can you give me (or put in your svn) a cc that does just this:

HF if not on CD
Smite if HF is not on CD
bubble self / heal self if self < 70% HP (heal self with penance first, then greater heal unless i am less than 25% - then penance and flash to 60% and greater heal to 90)

targetting = False (able to change to true - where the cc auto targets hostiles - so i'll need the code in it)

movement - disabled

Bounce PoM on Tank or self = false (able to be changed to true - so i'll need the code in it)

If I am casting something not specified - do not interrupt (divine hymm, Hymm of hope, penance, etc)

If you do make the little modified cc for kick do u mind posting it in the original post or sending to me in a message at all i would also like a cc just like it.

When you do a check for prayer of healing are you checking if 3 people in the same group are below the threshold or 3 people in the raid are below the threshhold ?
 
Thank you very much for all your feedback. I'm currently actively working on my RestoDruid CC, so I won't be updating this one that much for some time. But as soon as I have some spare time I will focus a bit more on this.

Will take into account all of your comments/requests and see what I can do.

This site is very basic... VERY basic... and says nothing about atonement spec. (i.e. the smite glyph isn't even listed, and in the rotation smite is not listed). It is not an AA guide at all. However, for a 2-3 minute read, if you're not comfortable with the Disc tree, it's worth the read.

No, since the CC is designed with AA builds in mind, it needs to DPS in order to heal. I may make it more general over time, but for now you need to DPS.

And I agree with this approach... as the other CCs are having much difficulty weaving in an AA rotation. I think a dedicated CC for AA is perfect!
 
A couple notes from my test run:

1. If tank is too farm or out of LoS, the CC stops.
--in Tankhealing(), return false for you distance and LoS check. If you return true then you are telling Combat() that you just successfully executed that method and combat returns to start.

2. Divine Hymn and Hymn of Hope have long cds 6-8m, they are both set to cast a at around 70% or so. This is a high number for those.

3. Your Prayer of Healing check is not entirely accurate. It is not a raid heal, but a party heal. So to take full advantage of its use, you need to check each party rather that the whole raid.

If you want to look at any of my stuff to see how I solved certain problems go ahead. If you want to steal anything, feel free.

i maybe got a suggestion could you add something that we can do selective healing only tank healing ? since disc priest are alot assinged as tank healers in raids !
