[Plugin] BuddyManager - A Botbase/Profile/Zone Changer (Now w/ Scheduling)

What is the use of that item ?, same use as a hearthstone isn't it ? Or thats what it was when I dug mine up, shared the same cooldown with a hearthstone and took the same location as a hearthstone, so I just threw it away.

Any other hearthstone items you'd like added? That's like a 10 minute fix/addition, I just didn't feel it was necessary last night.
I finally posted the new update approx 5.5 hours before I had to get up for work...

In the end I had to stay up even longer, 3.5-4hrs sleep last night.
I'm passing out early when I get back so I can work on this rested

Beyond adding in better scheduling/random schedule/sub-profile changing and adding Vashj'ir...


If you alliance guys want to repair this is all I need.
-A hotspot with a repair guy and mailbox within 75 yards.
-I need that repair guys EntryId
-I'd also like a backup x y z for a mailbox, just in case it can't find one

This is how repair/vendor/mail works.
-It hearths
-Moves outside
-Flies to the first X Y Z outside the vendor
-Then use HB ground navigation to repair, if sell or repair is turned on
-Then search for any mailboxes in range
-If found one, path to it and do mailing, of course mailing is turned on
-If it doesn't find one automatically it will fly to that backup mailbox x y z
-Then walk back to that first vendor x y z outside his building
-Fly to portals, if needed for next grouping

So really I'd only need the first x y z, and the vendor Id if you have a mailbox like right outside
(Yes, I'm that awesome)


What else do you guys, the users, want?

That lvl 85 showing that is not possible. It's just not. So you need to restart wow and the bot and try again.
Any more problems need to be accompanied by an attached log file. None of this copy/paste BS.

I only copy and paste minor things. Like if its a serious issue preventing me from using the plugin - I will post a log. But that 85 message wasnt stopping me so I was just letting you know I got the message.


Also someone mentioned I to make sure I was using the latest version that was released last night, I am using latest (or latest on the SVN lol).

Oh that twilight highlands code I had in the version you had previously was wrong. It was only for checking to see if it would walk outside.

On the latest I changed it so it wouldn't matter what grouping you were on. On yours it only would have worked for the first.

Anyways, anything you wanna see added?
I could potentially add in Mage teleports... But that brings about a whole new set of checks...
Wouldn't be too hard actually, since I coded it properly-ish this time, versus my magehelper plugin (I never turned it on for that plugin, I only had it able to take me back to tol'barad )

Ok log attached this time.

I did a fresh install of both HB2 (latest version) and BuddyManager - still getting the twilight port problem.

I just think I am doing something wrong and too dumb to notice it lol.

EDIT: The log seems to include the area where I started it before enabling the plugin then stopping it to enable it. If you want to skip ahead: [2:42:52 PM:069] Stop called!

He stood there. Took a few steps back. Then jumped around. Stood there. Jumped around. lol. Didnt get out of building.

Obviously jumping around is trying to get unstuck.

Yep... I failed... Sorta.

I put the move outside code within the section that only runs if it has switched to Grind Bot.

If you would be so kind:

Set it to go to Twi-Hi for a grinding profile, just make like 2 hotspots a little ways out of town and throw them into a testing XML. Just so it'll move out.
Set it to run for 1 minute.

Next group set as your GB2 and respective profile to run for however long you want...

That should be the simple fix for now, just put that stupid move outside grindbot/tinyprofile group in for 1 minute, then your actual gb2.

Since it's the same zone it will just switch there, and start running


If it's still broken when you do that let me know (this time you can just copy-paste the part from "Dismounting at portals" and on)

Don't hit stop, or move your toon.

Relogging would mean making it a whole separated executable.
I'd rather not, but I suppose it's possible...


This is really just a much faster way to do these things, rather than spending days pouring over PB profile/code creation and fixing.
I've simplified it.
Made it so an every user can switch zones if they want, without forcing them to learn how to make profiles.

Also makes it better since if you are doing say grindbot in deepholm, you can't set a vendor if you're on a platform, HB won't be able to find a path to him, or back to your grind are.
But this can hearth you, do those vendor/mail things, and send you right back via flying mount
To do this just set both mandatory groupings to the same thing, and turn on force next grouping in settings

Read the second post on how to set it up.
The only thing you no longer need to do I'd hit recompile all.
Do not press recompile all.
It is not needed.

You need to set a bot base,
double click the filepath to browse for it, I will add a button good idea
Set what zone it is for!! I think you failed to do this part
And also a total time to run that Grouping.

You need to do the same for at least the second Group also.

If you do not understand please tell me what your language is.

Edit: You have to hit save, or "save and close" for it to save settings.

You didn't set a time to run.
You have to set a time for each Group.
If you set it to loop all you also need to set a total time.

And each character has their own settings file.
Some people have characters with different professions

Ok Sir Panda, I did do what you said. He got mid-way to the exit from portal but couldnt manage to get outside and was just didn't move for minutes on end.

Okay. I'll check my XYZ... if It's that much of a problem I guess I'm gonna have to force a move forward after a nice long wait in the code...
But again, I'll check it.

Maybe it's because I'm not fully phased in. Grab a hotspot outside that building, like 10 yards outside the door.
//Click on Developer Tools (Honorbuddy Window), then when you are in place double click where it says "My Location: 0 , 0 , 0", double click the 0's, and then it will put a <Hotspot X Y Z /> into the Honorbuddy log window.
