Cannot attach to wow

Hey guys i havent used Hb for over 5 months now. I just redownloaded and patched it. whenever i start it ,it just says its not attached to a valid instance of wow. any ideas?

have you tried making a new install of HB from scratch? and making sure you downloaded the latest version of HB from the release thread. and making sure that your client is completely patched?
try those things if your still having problems, repost the issue with a log as an attachment.
 
started having the same problem but it says im on build 0#. does this mean HB isnt updated? patch day so i figure hb needs to be updated as well.

New version is being tested check for updates: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/ or run updater.exe in hb folder
 
change your graphics api to dx9 (wow settings)
 
have done that, didnt work. but i deleted it, then downloaded it again, its working fine now. thanks :)

I have never used Honorbuddy before and just purchased a license the other day. I downloaded the program today
and was immediately greeted with the following:

You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #15595
You are currently on build #0

I followed the install instructions as outlined in this thread.

After searching the forum for answers, I was instructed to restart my computer, change to 32-bit client, check Direct X 9, and to open as administrator. I have tried these options (double checking myself several times and even having a friend double check it for me). I am obviously missing something here.

I hate to re-post what others have previously posted, but I'm obviously retarded.
