You Can't Hide From Blizzard

So, I was presented with a opportunity if you like this afternoon. Some guy spouted racial abuse and then deleted his character. I completely hate this sort of behaviour so I decided to quickly whip up a GM ticket. It's all sorted now and I basically asked if this guy was going to still be caught as he had deleted his character afterwards. The GM said, quote - "Nah, you can't hide from us."

So to all you gold sellers etc.. etc.. if you think deleting your toon helps afterward, well this may indeed be seen as evidence that it does not.

Would be awesome to hear some thoughts and opinions below :)

each character has a unique ID attached to it ... you can't hide :p
 
"That cake is a lie"... Don't believe everything blizz tells you.
 
As much as I love Portal, I think Kick's post holds slightly more strength :P
 
they can recover deleted character that has not been deleted for a long time, so they ofc can get info from character that has been deleted 1 day ago, so yea, u can't hide from them
 
We have all a QR code behind the head !! :eek:

This id isn't the WoWPlayer.Guid ?
 
They also run bot scripts...

A GM told me the other day that they run anti-bot scripts so those of you that don't add some amount of 'human' randomness to your botting then you'll get nicked.

I wear an entire outfit made from tin foil there is literally no way Blizzard can read my thoughts or scan my digestive system now.
 
I wear Panda suits.
Blizzard thought they were so cool they're adding the Pandarians :)
I don't hide, I stand out.
 
everyone needs to relax, nothings changed. the GM's are still doing the same things they always have been.
