It alway's had, I dont care what the mod's or Dev's say but Rift has inpacted the update's on HB/GB massively and all the dev's are working on Rift (and there new bot project), This is were a mod reply's "The update's on Rift wont affect the updates on HB" like alway's, the the proof lie's in the time-line of HB update's in the last year.

Also if you think im lieing check on how many patches Rift has had in the last 3 month's to how many HB/GB has had.

I have discovered a problem.

Sometimes when bot gets in combat (GB2) bot gets target at the mob but wont attack it. This is really annoying since just stand there doing nothing except heal itself so he wont die, seems really botisch.

Have tryed another CC

To bad the dev's have yet to come out ans tell us hey guys we have really missed the mark on this build and get a better release pushed out... Yet on Rift they can barely get past the warden that rift uses so that product is garbage but since it seems devs pour all their time into the Rift bot it seems we are left in the dust...

I think it is getting to the point devs that yall need to apoligize for a bad release and layout plans on how you are going to fix HB/GB

btw please quit asking for logs we the users have submited hundreds of logs, yall have enough data to work with...
 
I think HB is now dead. It's being ignored which is a shame.

Ryftomate gets so many updates cause Trion is patching Rift almost everyday

and yes,i will said it again

My farming bots making 20k+ gold/day would like to have a word with you...oh yeah how much time have I put into them over the last week? Maybe a half hour to restart them...

<sarcasm> HB is totally borked and doesn't work at all </sarcasm>

I've actually noticed this myself. All it takes to start attacking is to either move or push auto-attack...

It just doesn't seem to recognize that its in combat and being attacked. It's really not often that this happens, but it is occasionally. It seems to happen when I'm standing on say an ore and the mob is on the ground, or if the mob is up on a hill. Not sure if that is always true or not though. I'll try and see if I can capture a log the next time I see it happening.
 
Does anyone here know how to go back 1 version of HB? 5418 is terrible for pool fishing, it will not pool fish if the char is fishing from land (its fine when using a dk or priest with Path or levitate) and will just stand there.

Have you re-svn? I know AutoAngler was just updated the other day to fix some issues. Also, make sure that you don't have it set to use Elixir of Water Walking.
 
Cheers mate, no i only use a DK and priest to fish with the water walking off. I did not know about the autoangler update so it must be that.

To those of you having issues with the bot just standing around not doing anything randomly (usually getting beat on)

IF you've seen when it started, can you please give me a descriptive answer as to what the bot was doing directly prior to it standing around with its thumb up its ass?

All attempts to reproduce the issue have turned up nothing. While, this may mean its just hard to reproduce for myself, or the bug is fixed, I can't tell which. But for right now, I'm having severe issues trying to reproduce it.

@hi1674 (or w/e the numbers are); Got that log yet? We squashed a few bugs that caused that issue before. And I haven't been able to reproduce it in any of my tests either. (Possibly plugin/CC related?)


@Those of you who think we're ignoring HB. Its very much so not true. We still work on HB as much as we used to. As Tony pointed out, there are different teams on different games. We're trying to go towards a better release model with HB, instead of release-early, release-often and only get out shitty builds. (Granted, I won't lie, something broke badly with this release, and I'm not entirely sure what.) We're going to be doing a lot more [Test] release builds, before putting out any [Release] builds. (This is going to cause a lot of moaning in the community, since "test" is newer, but buggier. But thats why we're not pushing test builds to the auto-updater.)

Unfortunately, we're at a point with HB, where new features aren't really needed, since we've got nearly the entire game covered. Its all down to bugfixes here and there. For the amount of whining that goes on, there aren't nearly as many bugs as people think. (Most of the time, we simply can't fix bugs because we can't reproduce the issue, and logs aren't always helpful since we can't just flood the log with info about every single thing the bot does.)

perhaps sometimes the community just wants some updates about what you are currently working on. no info at all looks a lot like being forgotten :)
