Request: Id love the ability to unload a CC if I switch character so I do not have to restart HB.
 
Nice Beta. Farming herbs and mines works mutch better! But i dont know why ... i cant describe it in english ^^

During the quest "Raining Down Destruction" in grizzly hills - the bot picks up the boulders for the quest it needs, but then when it goes to the edge to throw them over it gets stuck moving around in circles at the edge of the cliff, trying to find a legit spot to throw from, but it never does - ends up logging out because stuck in the same spot for too long. I ended up manually completing it. Here's the log. The offending portion happens around 3:41.

From what I read that function is built in the core of the bot and it would take a whole re-do to be able to switch CCs.

Not a whole redo, but quite a bit of changing to support it.


For now, we just require you to restart the bot when you switch toons.
 
seem to be having a better experience with bgbot , less stacking and less standing around dont know if this is coincidence or not
 
I'm curious to learn more about how other CC Dev's test there CC's. Right now when I make a change to my CC. I need to close HB. Relaunch and go from there. This can be made easier with start-up parameters to pass credentials/bot name/cc/autostart. But it still is by far the slowest part of the development process. Not to mention the SVN checkins (My fault on that though) . I know there are options to recompile plugins. Is there any way to Reload a CC without restarting HB? This would be a huge addition.
 
Some weird "Fake cast" thing going on with this, or its singular problem. I would suggest you wouldnt pack this with old version of singular, that might be the case. Not sure if its or it is not, need to get new singular and see if that could fix the problem - tho I doubt it, since other CC's do that crap too. It starts to cast like 6 times while already casting, interupting the other cast in the progress with becose of moving forward - in GRIND setting.
 
Ever thought of adding the protected items to a part of the HB root instead of profiles?
Getting tired of me forgetting to add certain things to a profile, before starting bots.. Like Deadly Poison on my rogue. But it wont sell Instant Poisons

<ProtectedItems> and <ForceMail> haven't been part of profiles for a very, very long time--perhaps a year now. Indeed, it is basically considered 'wrong' to include these elements in profiles.

That's what i get for being away from HB for that long ^^
 
When using GB bot with the new release 5387 I am forced to uncheck mining being it is not a profession and/or one doesn't have a pick. The version 5354 never checked before and I personally like it that way for I change professions and now I have to configure bot each time I do.
 
GB is not saving mount under manage tab. Example: I type Black Drake and GB does not save it. When I open the config and go to the manage tab I have a mount id for a Armored Blue Wind Rider amd not the Black Drake I entered and closed the config window.
 
Small issue, when running the BG Bot in alterac valley. It stops and does this:

So basically it decides first to follow the rest of the ally team to galvangar, but when it comes to the cliff chokepoint, it stops there and waits for 10-15 seconds before deciding to defend and it gets stuck defending the entire game and dies alot more due to that. Would it be possible to make sure it follows the group if there are more then 10-15 ally players at the same place?
Considering the fact that it stops at the exact same place every time in av it feels rather bottish
